Re: 3 BA pilots died following their 2nd jab this last week

One cannot rely on cases anymore since the vaccine is supposed to prevent serious symptoms.
Even a flu symptom will get the vaccinated tested.

So what is the ratio positive cases / ICUed?

Re: No pilot recalls until Spring 2023???

They don't give a shit having us being "traumatized" or "strongly affirming whatever you want to call it". As long as it gives them another 4 years in the office, why should they care about 500k people while with another brainwashed lockdown they can get as much as 75% of the pop...

Re: Encore Recalls

Safe to assume those spots will all be filled with mainline pilots? Given the recent round of 400 layoffs and the fact most of them had a fair amount of seniority. Sounds like this is all new guys. This isn't a reduction bid. It's gonna be all laid off guys That is correct. Even though there’s goin...

Re: Seniority Travel

You seem to enjoy this pandemic. There may be pilots who are never recalled. Who knows what size WJ will be in a few years. But the pilots who are working are not going to stand still in negotiating working conditions because pilots are laid off. That’s ridiculous. If the current pilots who are enti...

Re: ALPA Criticizes Cargojet

This is about to get nasty. Why do you want it to become nasty? Nasty for Canadian pilots, for sure. Since nobody has the balls to tell companies to stop this shit, this is the first step to outsource our jobs. I won't be surprised to have other companies outsource as well... This is getting intere...

Re: Air Canada and Government of Canada Conclude Agreements on Liquidity Program

The problem is that Justin and his cohorts do not understand economics and are driven by their socialist ideology as opposed to protecting Canada, its people and its economy. For over a year they have constantly attacked aviation industry by various limitations while they are clueless how to battle...

Or maybe the announcement was made on purpose to force the federal to give them some sort of a bailout. Meanwhile, watch the market opens on Monday morning, I won't be surprised to see AC stock plummets another 50%. Funny, AC was up over 14%! Good call. Well, when you have the government sayi...

Re: IATRA Exam

If you pass your IATRA then have a 2-crew ppc then pass your Saron and Samra, those two will not be frozen.

Same logic if you pass your iatra first then saron/Samra, your iatra will be used to issue your 2crew type rating.

Re: Best guess when recalls could happen

I am one of the many Jazz pilots laid off. To be quite honest, depending on how long this layoff lasts, it may be the end of my commercial aviation career. I am in the process of securing a well paying job in the tech industry using my previous experience and university degree. I love to fly, but I...

Search for whatever collective agreement you would like. Whatever you see today may not be representative of what you may end up with in a few years. http://negotech.labour.gc.ca/cgi-bin/recherche-search/nego/index.aspx?GoCTemplateCulture=en-CA By the way, that won't be a latest agreement signed la...

so 50 x 80 is nowhere near EI. Still willing to understand this statement when your debating whether or not you’d make more on EI staying at home. Those initial figures are only as long as the CEWS program lives. After that, 50mmg till end of year. It's only an FO spot that will be marginal compared...
