Buddy1, pm me and I'll try to help you as best I can as I have some good contacts, the AVCanada crackers have invaded this thread and there is no way it can ever be salvaged.

Re: Anyone had an T.C. interview any info would help!

Buddy1 et al You may be given a couple of choices for an ad lib presentation to the interview panel at the beginning of the interview process. The presentation assumes you are speaking to a group of non-aviation people and the topic you choose will be an aviation related subject. For example, you mi...

Re: Enforcement TCCA Style

C.E. and pals I'm writing a self-help book you know, there's a huge market for this stuff. All you need to do is convince people that their problem is not their fault and that they're victims of larger forces. That's easy because it's what people believe anyway. Nobody wants to be responsible for hi...

Re: Enforcement TCCA Style

There are good drivers and crappy drivers, interestingly it's the crappy drivers who do the most bitching about how the rules of the road are only there to control them while the good drivers simply respect the rules.

Re: Longest Running 604,702,3,4 and 5 Compnies in Canada?

Air Creebec, 25 years! Not bad when you realize that nobody at the time thought that natives could run an airline, not mentioning a profitable one. Don't want to be a jerk, but most of these native owned airlines get huge capital investments from the Federal government. Not exactly a level playing ...

Check out Canadian Aviation Documents on CD-ROM. The contact number for the Folio Views-Canadian Aviation Documents on CD-ROM is 1-877-948-4400. Hello I don't understand the frustration. I, among others logged 1/2 time towards a ATPL because in the name of safety a co-jo shouldn't be credited with PIC experience until the company feels it's safe to "cut 'em loose". The system is fine the way it is. Too many pilots think they are ready when t...

Sounds like a crop sprayer working for a flying farmer here. Bottom line is if there is an accident or incident there will be an investigation into flight and duty times. Even if you haven't exceeded duty times, you can be liable for wreckless and neglegent if you knowingly pushed your safety limits.

from Gore Vidal's "The Enemy Within" "Since the Iran-Iraq wars, Islam has been demonized as a Satanic terrorist cult that encourages suicide attacks -- contrary, it should be noted, to the Islamic religion. Here is something to chew on, Transport Canada (all modes;Rail, Civ Av, Marine and Surface) have had to shave 20% per year out of their operating budgets since 9/11 to help the treasury board fund the anti-terrorist crusade. I'm not sure what the actuals figures are but with those cutbacks regulator...
