Re: 50 of 737NG planes grounded after cracks found - Boeing Safety issue again
And the dreamliner is next. A few years ago a few Boeing 737 quality assurance engineers got fired because they wouldn't release the 737 NG fuselage because of cracks...... The same story is happening with the 787, seems like the local culture in that company. Enjoy the video.  https://...

Re: Direct Entry Captain Course
Not sure about this company procedure but did they issue an internal bidding for sep 9th class? if yes can anyone share the results? just to see how desperate they are, Thanks. Don't work there, but back in May a buddy of mine showed me the list for the next upgrade course - 3 out of 8 spaces award...

Re: CargoJet or Transat?
Funny, the guys always talk about money, roster, benefits.... did anyone consider the red eyes stuff and it's adverse effects on your health ? and all these big metal birds do it more so for cargo ops obviously, you fight to stay awake every single night of your career, you do 10 years (if you survi...

Re: Lion Air 737 MAX 8 Crashes in Indoesia
These vapor and nausea thing on a 737 is the consequence of overfilling the hydraulic B reservoir its always been an issue but it could be a sign that maintenance were topping up hydraulics as tech log showed differential pressure caution light a few days before.

In fact in does matter as these long cleaning hours spent by the crews are taken away from flight preparation so its a bloody safety issue, its a latent threat that is yet to say its name.

When I wrote the exams for the ATPL the answers were all hand written and were marked based on what you actually knew as shown in your hand written answers, in today's world you have the multiple choice crutch to help you. Here is the airplane that was used in the exam. http://www.flugzeuginfo.net/...

Re: Which Canadian Airlines expect their Flight Deck Crew to also be Cabin Groomers?
If you think that a 737 Captain or First Officer should clean planes, you need to travel a bit more and see the world. Get that 703 mentality or whatever PTSD you may be experiencing due to your previous abuse as a small time pilot and get in line with the rest of the world. Spare me the "What abou...

Re: Which Canadian Airlines expect their Flight Deck Crew to also be Cabin Groomers?
I do it where I work and it's not SOP. I also do it as a passenger on other airlines. I just like getting my hand in dark, deep, (sometimes moist) places and pulling out surprises. Try it. I respect your opinion but doing it because you want to is something and doing it because its part of your job...
