Website seems to work fine now. No "worldticket" redirect.
I think Flair used Worldticket before they expanded and had the 777 investment.

I asked for one when I applied for my ATP as proof of the multi engine flight test. Otherwise, transport or the company will surely provide one to you.

Re: Stateside on route freq
I suggest asking any conflicting traffic to please advise on the approach control frequency.
But for real there is no widely used "en route" frequency. Get flight following or look out the window.

Re: Ferry Flight Legality
If money or other consideration changes hands, you need at least a Commercial Pilots License. If your good friend says hey, I bought a plane in Vancouver, would you like to fly it back for me, I'm very busy with work, and he doesn't pay you for your time, then you would only need a Private Pilots Li...

Re: Flying into USA
When you make first contact with ground (or if they have clearance delivery, call them), tell them VFR flight following to Cxxx and an altitude. If it's a non-primary airport without a tracon, they will call flight data, make you a strip, and get you a code. the assumed departure time works well, bu...

Y'all forget how recently Porter cut your pay (after COVID). Don't think it couldn't happen again.

Re: Atpl question
Hey Folks, just wanted to confirm that I am on the right track here. I wrote my ATPL , then got a BE02 type rating , followed by a SAAB type rating. Now, my two year validity for my A's have lapsed. Once I get the ATPL hours requirements , do I need to rewrite my A's once again for my ATPL applicat...

Im curious why a foreign airline (PAL), operating under a Canadian AOC, with C-registered planes, would need an EASA license to operate there?

Re: Google flight emission estimates
There are more seats on a WestJet 787-9, so fewer emissions per mile.
I agree it's silly though, and I seriously doubt anyone chooses their flight based on carbon emissions.

Re: New pay scales
This is probably trying to keep a union out (they hired a lot of guys to the jet from outside Porter that would be used to a union, and they pissed off basically all the dash 8 people with pay cuts and equipment "freeze").
I hope their employees see through this and organize regardless.

Yes you can and no you don't need a passport to have a Nexus card. You can get one with a birth certificate or citizenship certificate.

Hi all New forum member as I've recently moved to Canada. I'm considering buying a plane as a way of exploring both Canada and the USA while here. It would be something like a king-air. Two key considerations I am hoping for some assistance with: 1. The legalities and practicalities of keeping an N...

Re: Crossing the the border as an intl student!!!
When you fill out EAPIS, you can add your Visa number. If it won't let you, just let the officer on the phone know when you call for landing rights. It's not a big deal, I've done with ESTA eligible people, who since they're going by private aircraft, actually need a visa. Painless.
