Re: WJ pilots reject tentative agreement

At any arbitration, any union I have been aware of always sends their reps, not the lawyers. The lawyers take over once the union is in trouble. Completely false. There are pilot reps on the grievance committee who provide input, but arbitrations are run completely by the lawyers and professional l...

LCC will be blocked between 77.5 and 85 hours per month, with anything over 82.5 being at 1.5x.

Dear Flight Crews: What do you look for when it comes to choosing a place to stay when your base city is not your home city? How much would you be willing to pay per night? What kind of comforts do you look for? I ask because I have a house veey close to the Ottawa airport that I am thinking of ren...

Completely and totally incorrect.

Re: The race begins?

Not that much room actually. As I said earlier, once the airplanes are removed from the fleet, that will bump up the ratio. Then once the airplanes start flying at SR, that will bump the numbers again.

ACPA is taking a very, very close look at the numbers right now.

Re: The race begins?

Fanblade Domestic ASMs flown by widebody aircraft are included in the 29/100 ratio. Read the contract. It explicitly states that only INTERNATIONAL widebody flying is not included. The numbers I have heard put AC around 23/100 ASMs currently. However the ratio will take a big hit here twice. When th...

Re: The race begins?

Wide body A/C are not included in the seat ratio of scope. It's narrow body only. From what I understand we were already at the 100/30 ratio. Lets see what happens. Incorrect on both counts. Reference is 1.10.04 for the widebody thing. And they are significantly below the 29/100 ratio, somewhere ar...

The Conservatives only received 39% of the popular vote in 2011.

Ah, I see you changed your post while I was typing mine. FYI, I would have no problem with the TA being voted down if it was done honestly, but it wasn't. I guess the hundreds of people who signed the petitions and the majority of pilots who cast their votes to recall the people responsible were wrong? So were the the 2/3rds of the pilot group that voted down the piece of shit TA1? I guess in your world, minority rules? Interesting perspective you hav...

There are still plenty of jobs at risk. You could drive a truck through the hole in the no furlough language. What I mean is that the rumours were far worse (<120 seats, no ASM ratio, no LCC). Instead of trying to troll me JDM why don't you grow a set and tell me who you are since you seem to know me?

For every increase of a MJA above the current 16 at a CPA provider, mainline must also increase by 1. So jazz could get 44 705's if AC got 44 more 320's. There is also a let that 1 wide body can be substituted at a 2 to 1 ratio..ie. 22 767's or some combination thereof. Not quite correct. CPAs can ...

Since we went to the off the rack tunic I have left mine at home. Perhaps it's due to my ever expanding girth, however I have been unable to get a tunic that fits me properly. Hard when you are shaped like a reverse hourglass.

So for now it's overcoat only.
