Last I heard, both Perimeter and Transwest are still sitting at around the >2 years mark, while Summit is still around >1.5 years. Seriously, why would any company pay more to hire a local, when they could just hire a low-time pilot instead? Conversely, why would any low-time pilot take a non-aviation job, when their buddies who went the PIW way are now actually flying? The reality is, there are simply too many low-time pilots ...

I worked there about a year ago. The minimum requirements for a low-timer were a multi-IFR, IATRA, and 250hrs TT.
