This story may be relevant ; In about 1975 a duster pilot in south sask took a friend for a circuit on his C188. The passenger held onto the strut and of course sat on the wing. The pilot said it was the stupidest thing he had ever done. True story ; I know the passenger is still around.

Slightly off topic but: why do all aircraft have dual controls (most anyway)? Makes very little sense to me and if there is an important reason then why not dual in all vehicles.

Dusters rule! A narrow country road with even a shallow ditch does focus the mind. Makes the home strip ridiculously wide.

Here in sask dusters use the roads and secondary highways all the time. I land and taxi up to the local restaurant. NEVER had issues. Just one cop stopped to chat. If an airplane is a problem on a road then what is a combine or three ( up to 40 ft wide) doing on the same road?

You did not HAVE to report the hunters. If they were not interfering with aircraft or acting unsafe just inform them of the situation and move on. Perhaps a hunter will report your supposed low and unsafe flying someday. Far to many folks get law involved when common sense would do.

I know one private pilot who flew legal for many years with one eye. Do not know about commercial. As I under stand ; a lodge may fly its own guests in its own plane . Second that tip to draw a line on map. All my maps were plasticised. I just left most lines on after a while because they were still usable even if destination was slightly off. I still enjoy map reading even with a gps.
