Go work the ramp for a year and then you can start flying. I know of two companies in Manitoba that will/are looking for rampies.

Save yourself the hassle of having that on your resume and do it for the aviation industry.

I don't think it matters, depending on what your goal is. It definately does not matter if it's your first job, how many people are there out there with a commercial and a college program without a job? Probably just as many with a commercial without a diploma. It all depends how bad you want it, if...

There's a United Airlines Boeing 777 on the tarmac at YZF. I talked to atc and apparently it was on a flight from Frankfurt to San Fransisco and lost an engine and had to make an emergency landing. Does anybody else have any insight?
