Re: Happy Treason Day!
So true. America celebrates Independence Day. What do we have DOMINION Day. As in the idiots in charge of the country have dominion over us serfs. Meanwhile children whine and go on about America being so evil, capitalist etc. All the while aping their culture, and economic progress. We consume more...

Re: Lets get air travel started again in Canada Email Your MP!
What is glaringly offside with our “federal” government is that people need to go searching for their local representatives. I have a clown liberal Geoff (goof) Regan. A no see do nothing unless it’s a photo op in our riding. And to think these clowns have been paid a salary for all the “work” they ...

Re: Optimism
There are lots of reasons to be optimistic - if you're American, living in America. Aside from the lack of socialized healthcare, controls on weapons dangerous, and 1% incarceration rate... :axe: :weedman: Wow. This av can at its provincial best. Come for the rhetoric. Stay for the whining.

Re: Average flight time
Maybe in the guise of saving the student some money the flights are kept to one hour? I think at the cost of renting the students might balk at a higher bill for the extra .3-.5 hours? That could save them some $50-100 per? Just my thoughts. Personally I found a cheap under 30K 172 to do my PPL I co...

So have you finished your flying lessons yet? The last time I replied to you you were crying about giving up and how hard it was and how hard done by you are. Has this situation changed? So are you a pilot looking for work seriously; or a troll looking for the easiest least amount of work path to a...

Re: Canada on track to surpass U.S. in number of COVID cases relative to population
Please help me understand this debate. So wearing masks is stopping the spread yet we have increased numbers. Ok i get it it’s those nasty people who don’t believe in masks who are the spreaders or wait, no it’s the people who traveled. These untermench will he dealt with I am sure. Probably with th...

Re: GA flight to Montreal
CYHU. St.Hubert is a great option. I have used them a few times in the past. I think the last time now it was in 2017 so i could be out of date it was 30 bucks (i think) for a night tiedown at Air Richelieu and a 32 dollar landing fee that i got later in the mail. There is a subway stop a short way ...

Stop it with all your “antigovernment rants” someone might cry and try to get you banned for not talking about flying! And yes we are a laughingstock with the worst leadership in our history. This clown makes RB Bennett look good. But hey he’s so dreamy and is known the world over for his fancy sox ...

Re: Weekend Feild Annuals
I'm pretty sure my wife won't sue my AME -or anyone else- if I crash my plane. The thought wouldn't even cross her mind I think. Would your partner do so? It doesn't matter if your spouse would sue the AME directly. Your insurance would pay out, and the insurance company would go after the AME. It'...

Re: Can Tourism Operators Survive Another Year of Border Closure?
Pretty funny. They are not “loopholes” they are the rules. The border is not closed to air travel nor is it to GA travel. These same people could purchase tickets on a commercial flight direct. I would say that they wanted their car while they were away and found a smart way to accomplish it. Person...

Re: Maintenaince Costs For Cessna 172s
Mike A bit late re-replying. Did you ever purchase a plane? What was it and how are you making out? I can offer a bit of advice about needs and wants. I recently sold my bare bare bones 172 for a 182 that is a cherry low time airframe sub 300h engine and prop. With great paint. Pure 170,s narco radi...

Re: Weekend Feild Annuals
I have read the posts above and wonder where this would be located and how far the person is willing to travel. I know if this would be tried in Nova Scotia you’d go broke. After participating in 4 annuals on my 172 and one on my 182 I am constantly amazed at the amount of screws, washers, cotter pi...
