Re: How to Move Forward
Become a nurse and get paid 50/hr , it's a job guaranteed career, can't go wrong regardless of the "situation" going on right now. I'm seriously considering that or a chef .

Since I only have 320 hr or so, I'm way far off to write ATPL written. Is there an alternate route for A320 TR ?

A320 Type Rating Requirement
I'm a Canadian, recent CPL MIFR with about 320 TT (100PIC) in a Cessna 172 and Piper PA44, and passed IATRA. . EASA requirement for A320 includes ATPL theory (written ATPL in Canada). Does any one know that I can use IATRA instead of written ATPL for the EASA type rating? How about FAA approved Type...

Re: LPV Precision Approaches
You can load/activate it in approach mode/ runway selection on the GPS, GS indicator will be alive as soon as you switch it to GPS from VLOC (very important: it wont work if you leave it on VLOC mode) during approach. Of course, there must be an outlined LPV app in the GPS database, otherwise GS ind...

Re: IFR flight test questions.
All you have to do is one PA (mine was full procedure ILS) and one NPA (RNAV/LPV on mine), it all depends on the availability of the NAV facilities of your intended destination airports. Of course, full holding procedure is included too.

Jet/Turboprop 2nd IC hours VS Cessna PIC hours for staring pilot
If you have a choice which hours would you pick between small jet/Turboprop hours as a first officer vs PIC time as an instructor? As a CPL/MIFR with around 300hours, I know that I'm going to need PIC time in order to upgrade to an ATPL and get a job in the left seat later down the line. Get a job a...
