Re: TA Passed.

Quick math shows that if you factor that approx 955 pilots voted yes that's around 66% of the whole list. So still a majority, no one will be able to say that a minority of people made the decision. I'd say the people that didn't vote were probably the ones close to retirement that would not be aff...

Re: 17 year TA?

It was stated many times that the A220 and MAX wouldn't be used as regional aircraft, but as supplements to the retirements of the 767's and older A320s. I bet if this passes, the RRA won't happen. Anyone want to wager an adult beverage on that? We cost AC pennies to operate regionally in compariso...

Re: 17 year TA?

Under what conditions will people say enough is enough. Say this 17 year deal is signed. 3 years from now hiring stops, age 65 is now age 95 and no one moves. Now what? What if in 3 years Calin comes to Jazz and says sorry, Sky grows unless you take more concessions, times are tight. This deal coul...

Re: 17 year TA?

Yup... He offers no plan.... Abundantly clear when he had the mic in YUL. His "speech" in YYC was an embarrassment to himself and anyone he represents. His whole nonsensical rant about the AC medical and the exchange/wild accusations he made? Way too far.. the exchange that followed was by far the ...

Re: Deal or No Deal?

Your not gambling your future just everyone else by voting yes. Damaging the future generations to come, and discouraging future aviators from perusing a flying career cause the wages and perks are shit and locking in a contract for 17 years. If people knew businesses NO ONE SIGNS A 17 YEAR CONTRAC...

Re: Things are brewing in the kitchen.

I disagree. - 60% of AC pilots to come from Jazz- not insignificant with the hiring that is coming there with something like 1200 pilots required at AC in the next couple of years. - 90% of those that apply will be accepted. In seniority so no BS about picking and choosing. Closest thing to a guara...

300 million investment into chorus.
It’s a line of credit... not an investment. For the new RJ leases to AC probably.

Re: Diamond Flight Centre Experience

If i were you i wouldn't waste my time in getting a checkout there. If you are looking for a place to fly and not get hosed Forest City Flight Centre is a way better option one flight checkout more than likely, a lot more freedom and they will work around you're schedule. I have had nothing but goo...
