Re: Got kicked out of my flight school today
Go to school and take your PTR. If for any reason they refuse giving it to you advise them that you will report them to TC. PTR is your property and the only legal document to support your 70+ hours of training. After that find other FTU school and complete your training. Do not delay, do not let th...

RV-10 builders in Lower Mainland BC?
Good day!
Is there anyone currently building his RV-10 in Lower Mainland, BC?
I would be glad to chat with that person as I am also a builder from the same area.

Re: Diamond Vs Cessna Flight Training
I did my first 40-50 hours in DA20, after that moved to PA28-235. Diamond is very responsive in controls for pitch and roll. Both controls use push roads. Diamond also flies very well! The only disadvantage which I found was that airplane feels very fidgety whenever air is not stable. Any light chop...

Re: Avionics standard practice and technical exam
Is there any way of self-studying for AME E license and then passing required exams with TC? Assume I have an AMO who is willing to let me work for them to complete required 48 month practice.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Re: AME course/license for ones own aircraft
The lack of a license prevents me from doing more than elementary work on my aircraft, except for my homebuilt. Is it worth getting the course done with the intention of just working on your own aircraft? From what I gather, it is the 48 months of apprenticeship experience that gets in the way. If ...

Re: ICS Canada AME Course
Resourecting old thread... Is there any way of getting approved online course for E-license, similar to ICS? So far I can’t find any part time or online course for E. ICS offers M1/2 only which I do not need. Assume I work at AMO and want to keep my job while studying for my E license. I can not qui...

Re: Montreal area airplane parking/tie down spot information
DC_Pilot and JasonE Thank you for your comments. I will definatelly follow your recomendations and get in touch with managers at airports to figure out about costs. It is sad that Les Cedres has negative feedbacks. It is so conviniently located next to HWY20. Anyway with my low wing I better stay aw...

Re: How many hours a week did you fly during your PPL training?
I just recently started my PPL training. So far doing around 2 hours per week on average. Will try to do at least 3 hours per week later when weather will be VFR friendly.
