Re: New North Star Basler Accident

When is it enough?

What is the difference between crashing 2 passenger airplanes in 8 months or 2 cargo airplanes? Seems to mean something to TC.
Same all star at the controls.

Another sad accident. I had flown Blake around many times. He was a great guy and partied with a lot of the Skyward guys. Tragic.

This entire arguement is so plainly obvious it hurts, so I'll try to give my opinion as an outsider reading this. As a single A/C in a large operation like YYZ center all you CAN see is what you deal with. We are the customers and users of the service provided and tend to remember the kind of servic...

This is a grey area in a lot of ways for sure!! If a guy flies 2 weeks of medevacs, then wants to work some OT doing 704 skeds he can't without having 3 off first?? Looks that way to me.... Also, I agree that no where in the CARS does it say you CAN'T fly 14 hours of 704 and do your 15th hour as 703...

CID...i'll end the suspense for you...the bandits will be scrapped for the most part...maybe some parts taken off and sold.....and they paid very little for them, one was already scrapped and the others needed a lot of TLC. But I guarantee you they were safe airplanes, flown by good pilots that I wo...

It wasn't on a HO, but on the 402 I had the same thing and it was the actual horn had come off its mount and was hanging on by the wires and the way that horn works is when it touches a ground it would go off as well as the gear unsafe light would come on. On the landing roll the plane would be boun...

I got some help from HRDC for my IFR. Was a HUGE pain in the ass and it totally depends on who you talk to as it is 100% their personal call wether you get it or not, so be prepared and present yourself well. A letter from a company will help. Doesn't have to be a job offer, but something along the ...
