Re: Anybody Joining/Rejoining the Airforce?
Are you trained on any of their equipment? I’m pretty sure they are looking for quick turn-key solutions and not the multi-year projects that ab-initio RCAF air crew are. What difference does it make? Why would they be looking for combat ready pilots? War incoming? As Goodguy pointed out, they shou...

Re: Finding a pilot job
Anyways, wish you all good health but seriously ff off. -Captain Kirk Please apply that to yourself. You are soo out of touch with the reality of aviation it's quite sad. Please limit your aviation "knowledge" to your family, because to the aviation community you're just a silver-spooned tool. I ac...

Guys! Why are you giving Kirk a hard time? Kirk has helped save all the unemployed pilots. All they have to do is apply to Cargojet, guaranteed job, it's that simple, no more unemployed pilots. Tell George S., Kirk sent you. Thanks Kirk.

Re: Transport Canada Contact/ Medical
The problem is that it's the ON TC region. They're slow, useless and incompetent, have been for years and seems to get worse every year  Three times I've done my medical and they don't process it or lose it. Ages ago they didn't understand the requirements for ATPL issuance.. really! So went t...

i'm shaking my head when I see my collegues act like this especially the prepubescent ones on the Jazz community facebook group. The reps said that they will consider the interests of all members just calm down until the people you elected work this out. Jheez. I thought we were better than this. j...

Guess big question for me(and a good portion of the electorate )is what “ Outhouse O’Foole” would/could do any better than the current “sunny ways, blackface, pie in the sky” dude is attempting to do. I am all ears for well reasoned answers- the peanut gallery will be ignored though. :? States pean...

Umm....Did Cargojet get a 777F already? I thought they were not coming for 2 years yet? Or did these people jump the gun? The B777-ERF arrived just days after the specialist carrier unveiled plans to augment its network and its fleet https://aircargoeye.com/canadas-cargojet-receives-its-first-new-b...

Morningstar has a two-year bond on the Boeing. I'm not sure about the other types but I'm assuming there's on bond on those as well. If there's a bond, then what's the problem. In 2-3 years some of those 703/704 guys will split for AC/WJ/SW etc (pending recovery). Was just a year ago, Morningstar w...

Re: Morningstar
Alternatively, maybe a 2-3 year pro-rated bond for the type rating costs would ensure the company does not incur a financial loss by hiring an airline pilot. Re: Is the Gripen E a real contender?
Single engine fighters have no place in the far north and high arctic. We will lose very expensive aircraft and pilots will die if the Canadian government fails to understand this. There simply are not enough runways and infrastructure in the vast areas of the North to support engine failures. We a...

So much for providing an “ Essential service.” Go get em Gabor! Each Canadian who has money tied up in this should be refunded WITH interest. The economy is a “ free market” the people have spoken and voted with their dollars. It’s sink or swim and unfortunately it looks like some are sinking and s...

At the last debate in Oct, Trump stated a vaccine would be ready or close to, early Nov. or maybe end of year. So we knew this announcement was coming.shamrock104 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 09, 2020 9:38 am I thought the very same thing. Interesting that a vaccine has appeared the very week of a change in Government in the US.
