Re: ACA starting position
What's the current probation period at AC? 1 year starting from when you're line checked. Don't forget you have to interview with your managers to get off it as well. Probation is on the MEC 2024 flight plan. I would imagine they'd like to standardize with other ALPA carriers, eg 1 year from DOH.

Re: Negotiations
We used to run 850 flights a day. Now it’s less than 400..

I know Jazz is just a shadow of what it used to be but the exact number flights daily is in the high 400s. 483 today, 478 tomorrow.

Re: Rats leaving the sinking ship?
While things at Jazz are far from rosy this tittle is clickbait at best.

Not here to defend anyone but how can you know they've picked up OT since FLICA schedule view has been disabled?

Goodbye to any meaningful wages increase, libs just opening the doors to "in-demand" professionals.

Re: Mis-set Cruise power
Sounds to me like some rookies need to get their heads out of their as*es. Whenever you’re touching the engine controls when you’re in the sky maybe think to yourselves, “ OK. I’d better be careful here because if I do this wrong I could damage this multi million dollar machine and kill everyone on...

Re: Negotiations
Grievance process going forward for the lack of pilot movement to AC. The next 295 Jazz pilots going to AC will have the opportunity to grieve AC not respecting the 60% commitment.
To be followed.

Re: Sunwing vs Jazz
You’re a joke. Lucky for you to have been at jazz for so Long. You laugh at junior pilots who make next to nothing and tell them to leave jazz to improve your own life. You literally said: “you can retire on LTD”. How do you think LTD is paid out? By the company? No. The rest of the group. Which is...

Re: Flying after an ACL surgery
Tore my ACL downhill skiing in 2010. I was working the ramp at the time, I took 3 weeks off at the time and went back to work. I've only got it fixed 2 years after that after noticing a frequent "popping" while pushing ULD with my legs loading cargo planes. Your leg will be really stiff after the su...
