Re: The Air Canada OTS thread

Not much RP where offered in the last few months aside from the one in June in think. Currently, a lot of open on the 320 for YYZ... I wouldn't surprised if the next few courses a big chunk of new hires will get that.

Generic questions. You can use an ipad. You will receive instructions how to do it. Its an app that you install and go from there.

Re: The Air Canada OTS thread

It took about 6 months from the in person to the hiring. Everyone path and timeline seems to be a little different but from the interview I had to wait 3 months for the medical. I never got a “pass” after the interview. If you dont get a pfo it kind of means that so far everything is good....no news...

Re: The Air Canada OTS thread

How long are fellow OTS guys typically spending in the hiring pool these days? Is 2 years in the pool still possible like it was a while back or has the pilot shortage put an end to that? Doesnt seems there is a hiring pool per say. Its a process that takes a fair bit of time (but will likely accel...

Re: The Air Canada OTS thread

that doesnt seem like a PFO that seems like they just didnt need anymore pilots?.....no/yes? If its still active I would assume you would get the offer when they start hiring again? In April they stopped the hiring and where saying resuming fall 2017. However they begun processing candidates again ...

Re: The Air Canada OTS thread

TrashHawler, Did you receive an email at any point from AC HR stating that all pilot vacancies are full, We do anticipate continuing to hire throughout the fall and 2018, and as such, we hope to be able to proceed with your file in the future. Until that time, your application will be put on hold. ...

I would say read carefully the emails and instructions and there are plenty of cues on what is coming up and what to prepare for.

Re: The Air Canada OTS thread

Passed tru the video interview and did the in-person interview. Also got the email saying we are hiring next fall until then you are on hold. I think it was foreseeable that we wouldn't be hired for this summer and that make sense to me. However, anyone actually received a PFO after the in person in...

Re: The Air Canada OTS thread

Anybody did the OTS hiring process recently?

So far it seems to be

1) Video interview. (recorded - no interviewer)
2) Then a in person interview.
3) A computer test following the in person interview ? What is the test about? psy profile?
4) Medical?
5) Job offer or you go in a pool?
