Re: Flair Hiring B737 FO's
Realistically, what are the chances of a 703 Captain with an ATPL, 2600h, close to 1,000h multi-turbine PIC in different types but 0 jet time to get a call? Are they finally going to start looking at people who didn't fly for Emirates/Etihad and don't have 7,000h PIC on a 777/A380? :?: I'm genuinely...

Re: Countries better than Canada for flying?
I am from France, I used to worked as a flight dispatcher for a major airline in Europe, I got to know a lot of a people who are now airline pilots for different low-cost operators and some made it to a major airline (Air France, BA, and that's pretty much it) I laugh very hard everytime I see the s...

Re: Wil Jazz hire with instructing time only?
you're nothing but an inexperienced arrogant piece of sh*t Only experienced arrogant pieces of sh*t need apply then? If I'd have it my way, and worked for Jazz HR, every resume with "Instructor Time" only would automatically go to the garbage; not even the shredder. It's not worth the electricity w...

Re: SWOOP OTS Captains punted from left seat...
Canada seems to be right in the middle for the G7 countries for average commercial pilot salary, below Japan, US and Germany, but above UK, France and Italy. Just for your info: Air France first Year FO on 737 or A320 is 100 000 euros and I won’t talk about all their benefits as Canada is far behin...

Re: New hire bids
Hi guys,
Any idea why Jazz starts to slow down its hiring?
As AC plans a GS of 30-40 every 3 weeks indefinitely, that seems a bit weird, that would mean more OTS for AC?
Cheers!

Re: CPL Written Nav Questions
I wrote my CPL written exam last week. Compared to Sharper Edge, I found the answers on TC to be not as close together. Example : TC would've been something like A) 34 min B) 39 min C) 48 min D) 59min. Lots of VOR / ADF / NDB questions. VOT checks. Custom clearance. And dont be surprised if they ma...

Re: 2018 General Hiring Outlook
That's actually scary from a side, because these small operators are turning down their business 'cause they're short of pilots to fill their seats, but on the other hand it's great that the aviation industry is a now pilot market.
Interesting times ahead!

Re: New hire bids
Hi everybody,
Anyone knows if the current hiring number will remain (more or less) the same next year (2018) for Jazz with the first wave of retirement at Air Canada starting in 2017?
Cheers!
