Re: New Hires
Looks like certification is just around the corner. Lots of DEC offers going out. I heard just yesterday of 3 E175 CA's from Jazz leaving for POE next month. Good. Hope they enjoy the Sky Regional trash that now plagues Jazz. I feel you, you been on the Kool Aid for so long, reality must hurt :good...

What will hurt Jazz the most is if there are E175 ACP departures. Line pilots can be replaced. CCP is tougher. I presume POE is looking for E...

Re: Is Jazz the right choice
If you want to go to air Canada fast, go to encore or porter. That's the simple answer. If you hate money and love 703-style operators, go to jazz. I agree that the pay sucks (alot) but Jazz a 703 style operator? You must be out of your mind... it's a great company to work for besides the pay. Lol ...

Re: The Air Canada OTS thread
Anyone know how long it is currently taking to find out if you're successful or not in the hiring process? Did my interview and medical, and then got an email for a background check about 4 days later. Haven't heard anything since. mostly jazz for the upcoming months. they have a lot to hire to mee...

Re: Flair Hiring B737 FO's
Montreal is opening July 1st. There are open FO and Captain spots as of the latest bid so a new hire should have no problem holding Montreal currently. hey , when is the Montreal base set to open finally? thanks for your answer. take care Due to a variety of issues, including construction at YUL li...

Re: Flair Hiring B737 FO's
Is the YUL base a bid option on the current ground schools? Is it popular amongst the current staff? Just trying to figure out if it would be realistic to think you'd have a chance at it as a new hire Montreal is opening July 1st. There are open FO and Captain spots as of the latest bid so a new hi...

Re: Jazz Payscale Updated 2019
Majority of us in the June GS are 703/704 captains with over 2000hrs. The thought has crossed our minds if we should have just stayed at our previous gigs and tried to go ots AC…I think the rationale is that either way, nothing is guarantee. If you can get PFOd in both positions where would you rat...

Re: Jazz Payscale Updated 2019
Yeah but things havent moved at all for 3 years. The line hasnt gotten any longer right? So once it starts moving it should still be around 2-3 years like pre covid no? The line is definetely longer with the integration of SKY pilots + 20 pilots each 2 or 3 weeks + Air Canada delaying as far as the...

Re: Jazz Payscale Updated 2019
All those wanting to come to Jazz expect to see this... T4 rich pay poor. Our deductions are huge. Our pay needs to increase Jazz pilots that completed the process at Mainline before Covid are still waiting to restart the whole process, we're talking pilots hired in 2017 which is close to 5 years b...

Re: Canadian Vax Pass being increased to 3+ doses
In an interview with Dr. Theresa Tam and Howard Njoo… It is now being said that: “ the federal vaccine mandate is not up to date.” The interview continues on to say that a third + dose should be administered . What’s the likelihood of people continuing to line up for these shots? What makes the “ s...

Re: Documents required for Air Canada interview
Interesting... So if you failed a ride or a written exam, you can't get in AC anymore? No, you still can. You just will need to explain to them why you failed, and what you did to improve. So, let me get this right, they ask you to provide this file? If you’ve failed a ride / test explain your reas...

Re: Jazz current real hiring hours
DEC at Jazz...who would have ever thought this day would come... The reality is there is more than enough pilots eligible for an upgrade at the moment at Jazz. To be noted that while Jazz may have numerous pilots without an ATPL, ALL Sky Regional pilots who integrated the Jazz pilot list are upgrad...

Re: Documents required for Air Canada interview
Apparently, Air Canada also requires you to print your Transport Canada file that shows history of all your PPC's (passed or failed), and written exams grades (ppl, cpl, atpl etc).
