Re: Applying ATPL with converted CPL from FAA

It sounds to me like you’ll have to write the Canadian ATPL exams. You can only convert a license once and since you have a Canadian CPL you’ll have to take the steps that a Canadian CPL holder would have to receive an ATPL which would include the SARON and SAMRA. This is my understanding. Someone c...

I haven’t. Link? Which charter right has been infringed upon? Also I wasn’t equating the fight for charter rights to fascism I was equating his speech to that of any communist or fascist leader.

Re: Truckers convoy

Read your second paragraph and explain how that isn’t indistinguishable from anything Castro or Che would have said during Cuba’s communist revolution. Actually, I'd consider what tsgarp said to be more akin to the pretext of the American revolution. (But that's just me. I wont speak for him.) For ...

Re: NEW TRAVEL Restrictions.

How is asking people to take a PCR test on arrival upending their lives? It’s a pretty common sense measure that is somewhat effective. The travesty is that we are 2 years into this and we can’t return arrival results in under 6 hours. This is an airborne virus here’s a non exhaustive list of measur...

Lol. Yup you’ve got it right after one doctor who has treated a handful of patients seems to agree with your position. The op didn't ask about pilots, asked about the highest paid at Fedex. It's normal for the CEO to be at the top of the pay scale in just about any company.
I appreciated your post if no one else did.

Could you post the studies? I would like to read them. I’ve read a few “masks don’t work” studies with very poor design. Ex. Not controlling for behaviour outside of the environment they were studying. I don’t know if this is the case here but regardless, worth a read. Sorry, but I have been postin...

My guess is that you haven’t had a mortgage in a long time and are unfamiliar with variable interest rates, mortgage renewals, or what happened in the USA 13 years ago where people wound up owing more on their outstanding mortgages than what their houses were worth. Yes. New buyers are unaffected b...

Your reference also says this: "We do think it's a pretty obvious way somebody can go about containing their secretions." If you think an airplane will crash if you don't wear a shirt and tie, you're not worth bothering with. That was my whole point. It’s stupid to think a plane would crash because...

Per the Boeing FCTM the wind additive is to provide sufficient maneuvering capability.

The steady wind additive should be bled off in the flair and the gust factor maintained to touchdown. Minimum speed for touchdown is Vref-5

I did my Multi-IFR at Pro and think they're great but in general I would avoid the lower mainland for initial training. High cost of living, high cost of training, and boundary bay is a good distance from what is usually a very busy practice area.

Did the conversion over a year ago now. The exams are easy and straight forward. The dauntless app covers most the material. It might be difficult to get across the border to write the exams these days. One other thing to note is that they will only issue ratings for which you can show PIC time. So ...
