Re: Chief Pilot at CMA?
A company like CMA likely has more than one CP. Usually a 704 CP, and 705 CP. They also have a HR department who sorts resumes and coordinates interviews and stuff. Rather than addressing a resume to someone in particular, just addressing it to HR is totally fine. Dianne Hughson (spelling?) used to...

Re: Fixed wing to chopper
Hey just wondering if anyone has made this change. If so where in Canada is cheap to do so? Do you still fly both? Was it worth it? How many hours can you transfer from fixed wing? I've always been interested in heli, so any info would be fantastic. I did both, I currently fly 705 Boeing and lucky ...

Re: Traduire "Wind your watch"
Bonjour à tous, Je traduis un texte sur les réunions virtuelles Zoom et l’auteur fait une analogie avec la vie des pilotes de ligne. There’s a tactic pilots use in tense situations; they tell themselves, “Wind your watch.” In other words, take a moment, breathe, pause. Savez-vous s’il existe une ex...

Re: Luxury Tax
I can’t see a reason why spending my cash on an airplane or boat is worthy of extra tax, but not spending it on a cottage (or second cottage), or flash jewellery, or a collection of good wine, or a decent violin, for example. can't we spend it the way we want? No, as long as you have a penny left, ...

Re: Pilot shortage State side
The pilot "shortage" may exist in the States but it is a short-term response to the ridiculous 1500 hour rule. You have old folks like me now changing careers. Aviation training programs have been exploding across the states. The Yankee pilots are there but still in training. This will all roll ove...

Maurelo...you miss the point and do not seem to understand how life works: Harvs Air is a BUSINESS for PROFIT. Not a charity Their material is “intellectual property” It is different from borrowing a book from someone. If you don’t care about the recommendation (which like many said will be granted ...

Re: Interview Callback
From what I heard, Jazz might conduct 2 ground schools each month if necessary. Current swimmers should be called for May or June ground school. And if you haven't recieved any call back within 2 weeks from Jazz after the interview, you might be out of your luck. I got two friends move to porter an...

203 coming from GGN so your wait will be long.
Depending if you’re currently employed and can wait..
Or apply with other regionals IMHO.

Porter is a dead end job, there are unfortunately are better places. Says who? Several are now with Transat and AC.
