Re: CPL written and harvs ground school desperate help

Interesting to see that all Maurelo posts have been deleted. I guess he can’t take the kitchen’s heat so he left. Maurelo, own up to your comments...over wise don’t start something you cannot finish!

Edit: apparently Maurelo’s account has been entirely deleted...

Re: CPL written and harvs ground school desperate help

Maurelo...you miss the point and do not seem to understand how life works: Harvs Air is a BUSINESS for PROFIT. Not a charity Their material is “intellectual property” It is different from borrowing a book from someone. If you don’t care about the recommendation (which like many said will be granted ...

Nothing is free in life, no freeloaders.
Many of us had to take loans.
Sorry but no sympathy from me.

Please enlighten us.
Self explanatory...
As mentioned before, if you’re set on Jazz and can afford the wait, heck go for it. Nobody disputes it is a great outfit to work for.

Re: Interview Callback

From what I heard, Jazz might conduct 2 ground schools each month if necessary. Current swimmers should be called for May or June ground school. And if you haven't recieved any call back within 2 weeks from Jazz after the interview, you might be out of your luck. I got two friends move to porter an...

Porter is a dead end job, there are unfortunately are better places. Says who? Several are now with Transat and AC. You’re a paying customer.
If you don’t feel comfortable with that instructor then go to management and explain why you don’t feel comfortable and if possible change instructor.
That instructor won’t change for you.
Don’t waste your time and hard earned $

I am a member of the public. And while this news article made me feel unsafe, Until I read the words from a safety expert, I had no idea I was cheating death every time we went missed. I think , as pilots, and pax, we all owe the famed passenger, and the great news reporter a big thank you. Will I ...

Lol I expected that. I'm not pretending to be anything that I'm not. The fact that I'm a PPL incapable of even starting up those aircraft doesn't diminish the fact that AC is becoming the comedy section of the aviation news. Stick to your “joy”stick and let the professionals do their job. The day y...

Thank you all, yes the exam results letter states that a letter of recommendation is required but does not mention more training is needed.
That’s entirely up to the person recommending you. He/she has to be satisfied you will be successful.

Re: Letter of Recommendation

I do not see any mention in TP12880 regarding letter of recommendation for re-write but maybe it follows the same logic as the flight test where you need to prove you received additional training... “A partial flight test must be conducted within 30 days of the original letter of recommendation. It's highly unlikely that you will ever see a US aircraft shot down over US airspace.
