Canadian North Interview

Hello Ladies and Gents,
Would anyone have any insight or tips on the Canadian North interview? Questions they ask? Any technical questions? Simulator scenario? If any? Thanks in advance for any information.

Not the most exciting job but home most nights.
Consider it to be one of the better 705 jobs in Canada IMHO.

Re: Air China Falcon 7X en route to Saskatoon . . .

I was there the night they stopped. They pretty much just picked up some go juice and water and then cont. on to Paris. Customs wasn't too thrilled though when they got off the a/c before they arrived though.

Re: ATR 42 Down in Venezuela

As well, if one looks at all the pics, the dash-8 pic looks like it was taken w/ the a/c down on a runway or road whereas the pics from the other news articles has an a/c that came down in a scrap metal yard. The a/c that came down in the scrap metal yard definately looks like an ATR judging from th...

Re: West Wind is in National is Out !!

So just to set the story straight from all the uneducated guesses. National lost the contract because of accidents, ie. gearing up a 100 and having a gear collapse in ZFD, along with a few other incidents. As well, having your OC pulled by Transport, whether it be for maint. issues or a lack of Ops ...

Re: West Wind Pilots Reinstated

Pgbulldog, It sounds like you have a huge bias against unions. I would agree that unions should be the last answer. But, it sounds like this is the last answer. Management has just about become deaf to the pleas of their employees. The decisions that were made, it seems, were made because of pride, ...

Re: West Wind Pilots Reinstated

pgbulldog, You speculate about many issues you have no knowledge of. If you knew anyone in WW and got some cold hard facts then some of your threads may have been shorter. First of all, attaining 90K in WW takes 6 years on the ATR as a captain, which compared to other 705 operators is low. Saskatoon...

Interview

Hello all, I just received the call for an interview in YYC on Apr. 8th. I have read some of the topics regarding interviews and found them illuminating. Just wondering if there are any recent interviewees who could shed some light on the topic and if there has been any new kind of questions. Thanks...

For 703, the mail run pilots might do 400 hrs.
For 704, the Jetstream pilots will probably do 700 - 900 hrs. and the King Air pilots probably 600 - 800 hrs.
That would be my guess. Word on the street though is that they are getting busier in '06.

Rod Black Sucks!

Did anyone watch the Roughriders Lions game on Sat. ?
That was, I think the worst commentating I have ever heard in a football game. No wonder the ratings are so high for the CBC just about silent games.
