Re: Gloom & Doom Q2 outlook...are you kidding?
Firstly, this is not about Swoop existing. This about WJ/APLA pilots flying Swoop at whatever conditions are negotiated. Secondly, this about CB demanding this be flown by non union pilots, at any price. It’s not good business it’s personal, and it shows. WJ pilots will strike over this if necessary...

Re: Everyday at WJ : union busting
Realitychex, I have to disagree with most of your post. The reality is you are only interested in your WJ stock value, not actually in the company’s employees. But I will give you this, you seem to be an expert on back doors. BTW I liked you better as the Bean on that other, more professional forum....

Re: Everyday at WJ : union busting
Looking forward to JS and his anti ALPA sandwich board. When he is confronted on clarifying his vocal concerns, he cowers in his negativity bubble. Time to poke a little hole in that bubble.

Re: CIRB Decision
Either CIRB will rule on a hiring ban (off the street for Swoop), and /or Swoop will be be negotiated in to WJ/ALPA Pilots first collective agreement. These planes are being moved from WJ to Swoop in the same company. All pilots positions will be offered to pilots on the WJ pilots one list by order ...

Re: Gregg Saretsky is the modern Frank Lorenzo
“ Keep your eye on the ball” Moving tails from from one part of the company to another part. Then make less revenue ( although lower casm), does not equate to growth. This internal airline within an Airline has poor track record in North America. Airlines typically grow by adding more tails and seat...

Re: Swoop Blacklist
Demeter you seem confident in your efforts to discredit our elected MEC. What exactly is your contribution to anything on this matter? What is your solution to the current state ? Or do you just criticize from the shadows.

Re: Gregg Saretsky is the modern Frank Lorenzo
GS’s legacy will be the cultural demise of WJ, WITHOUT a doubt. WJ will eventually get a new CEO and things will change and we will all move on.

Re: alpa hidden agenda
JS you need to go get, and enjoy life. It’s fine that you chose not to support your representatives and your pilot group, that’s your choice. Let’s be clear nobody will follow your lead off a cliff. People read your posts with mild amusement ( like a Trump tweet ).Your posts are foolish and cowardly.

Re: Why would anyone want to go to Swoop?
Complex intentions, you stopped being a pilot long time ago. You have been a low level manager who has poisoned this pilot group with your KGB style bullshit emails and calls. Under law we have entitlement to those jobs. Old commercial pilot we value your opinion. This will play out much different t...

Re: Swoop pilot hiring.
For the pilots who are thinking about leaving a good job for Swoop, the Wj pilots and WJ management have a very large disagreement in the hiring of pilots at Swoop. The pilots are backed by their previous (WJPA) agreement and ALPA. This dispute will be contested with the utmost vigor. The Intial Swo...

Re: Swoop pilot hiring.
The concept of Swoop was sold to Westjetters cause of the need “to protect the low end of market”. It has now morphed into anywhere from 30-50 tails (removed from Mainline). Pilots at WJ need to Wake up and accept the reality that eventually all tails will be at Swoop. Swoop is simply about control ...

Re: Swoop pilot hiring.
This is a Scab Airline that was designed to undermine the pilot union at WJ, while pretending to be protecting the low end of the market. Beware that this will not go unchallenged.
