that is the dream of most (Canadian) pilots. if that happens, I can promise there would be major changes to the canadian aviation sector, that would benefits us and all the generations under.
chances for it to happen though, are the chances O'mar wearing a #savecanadianaviation mask.

Re: Bankruptcy.
can you elaborate? your sources? Transat has a deal on the table from PKP that will likely save them. Wasn’t the deal from PKP for 5$ a share within 24 hours of cancellation of the Air Canada deal. Given the fact it’s been several days and a deal with PKP has not been announced, perhaps that offer ...

I hope the Sky pilots realize how lucky they are. And if i hear one negative comment outta of them about Jazz i swear ...... You got handed a golden ticket.I flew with guys who couldn't wait to leave Jazz for "big Jets" like at Transat... I ask what are those guys doing now??? sitting on there buts...

Re: Air Canada Revises the Terms of its Capacity Purchase Agreement with Chorus Aviation for Regional Flying
In an attempt to bring the topic back around, us Sky pilots aren't guaranteed to go over to Jazz at this point. It's only "possible transition to Jazz" as worded by the MEC in the latest email. Does Jazz need those E175 to be flying immediately? NO, not really. Jazz have plenty of RJ's 900 brand ne...

to my fellow jazz pilots: continue making the Sky Regional saga a personal thing and you will be up to some surprises that will affect US more than their integration in our seniority list. You don't want solidarity? fine. we won't get the airplane without their pilots so the e175 will go elsewhere a...

Re: Air Canada Revises the Terms of its Capacity Purchase Agreement with Chorus Aviation for Regional Flying
100% of Jazz interviews, if not 99.9% (to give ac control), successful at AC, heck have AC involved in the hiring process at Jazz, it's not rocket science. Heck, they own part of CHR, so it wouldn't even be an HR issue. 70% of AC ground schools are Jazz Bump FO Pay at Jazz to match Sky Give the sen...

Re: Air Canada Revises the Terms of its Capacity Purchase Agreement with Chorus Aviation for Regional Flying
Then what is the latest news on the topic? As per the MEC Chair the deal to bring the embraers is not even done yet. We might be up for a (long?) ride waiting. On the other hand looks like AC absolutely wants the E175 to be running as of May 1st. If it’s done, hearing Rep MEC’s are now strongly prop...

Re: Air Canada Revises the Terms of its Capacity Purchase Agreement with Chorus Aviation for Regional Flying
Regarding how it is that an FA can ride J before an FO... AC picked some arbitrary date(I think it was 2012 maybe when SKY was formed and we all became Express) after which ANY(FO or FA) Express crew would not be eligible for a J upgrade regardless of availability in the front. So it has nothing to...

i'm shaking my head when I see my collegues act like this especially the prepubescent ones on the Jazz community facebook group. AC already owns 10% of Chorus and Mr. Rousseau who currently sits on the Chorus Board of Directors and will be Rovinescu’s successor at AC when he retires in February. AC also did not try to settle the ACPA CPA scope grievance in the latest ACPA MOA and was content(it appeared) to allow it to go to...

Re: March to Save Canadian Aviation
So why would Canadian airlines be expected to refund when they received ZERO financial aid from the Government ? Because they were unable to deliver the service they sold? The same reason that if I bought a TV from a store and then the TV was undeliverable I would expect a refund. You want the gove...

Re: March to Save Canadian Aviation
Not that internet comment sections are a great indication of how successful an event or protest was... but I'm not sure this protest shines aviation in a good light. You have people making well into the 6 figures, asking the government to provide stimulus for an industry that has had unprecedented ...

Let me clarify it to you FL320. We call you Let's Make A Deal because for months you have been consistent posting about the " deal" . Re: When is Air Transat likely to resume flights
Transat giving back 9 330's to the lessor? 8 A330 exactly to get a final number of 12 in the fleet, they will keep adding the new A321neoLR as per the plan. These numbers have been specifically requested by Air Canada for their leisure division (of course you won’t believe it but it does not matter...

Yes you are correct that Transat has weathered several storms however this is the perfect tsunami in a century that the likes of royal, c3, jetsgo, know all too well. Re: When is Air Transat likely to resume flights
I see Transat has taken to the skies again .. how are the loads looking? Not as bad as I thought: first flights were more than 3/4 full (ie CDG about 48 seats remaining in the A330), in August some destinations are 3/4 full also and others are just a little more than half full so far; and it become...

Re: Termination of CEWS on July 4th?
For some reasons I used to think the problem at Sky Regional Airlines was management. In fact, the problem is the pilots and especially their union representatives. The minimum flying block is back at 75hrs since June.(the only 705 with layoffs in Canada doing so) So i’m Shaking my head asking myse...
