Re: Best Source For ATPL Study Questions
Trying to get a general consensus on what is the best. I'm at the point where I've studied enough to start some practice exams etc. Use aero course! I used Harvs was pretty much just their commercial stuff plus a couple other things and you apparently can’t share it with a friend, where as the aero...

Harvs Air
Hey folks Just want to give everyone a heads up on Harvs air.... STAY AWAY if your going to do any of your ATPL courses with them. First of all most the material on their ATPL course is just the commercial course with a couple more topics. As for the course material they figure that the only eyes th...

Re: Air Tindi Flight Missing
This accident sequence has me asking some questions. 1. What are real world failure rates for G1000 or similar flight decks? Not talking about a bug or incorrect setting but rather loss of adhrs. 2. Do you find the company culture shifting when a certain piece of equipment is so unreliable that its...

Re: Demand for float drivers 2019?
The money is absolute bullshit, the only float drivers I hear making half decent cash is the guys that use to work for black sheep up in the Yukon which is now a part of Alkan. The problem for us pilots is there is always a next guy in line that’s willing to do the job for half the price of what you...

Re: First Job
Invest into a 50 Hour bush course on floats that should get you flying in a 180-185 for your first season expect to see 50-100 hours then s bunch of camp or dock work. I personally did my commercial on floats so it was easy to get into a flying gig out of training, but if your a tough guy mentally a...

Re: How long till things go back to usual
Not for awhile bud.... and In all fairness 3 years on the ramp or 1000 hours right seat for a ho is ridiculous. Not saying that a 250 hour wonder should be in a dash either but some medium should be found. Maybe some more requirements for PIC time before guys are allowed to get into the bigger machin...

Re: All French Job ads
Chill out guys. I am an English speaking (by birth) quebecer, however I am fully fluent in french more by circumstance and necessity. Chances are that you would not want the job anyway since, I guess, most of the other employees do their business in french. (except on atc outside of quebec, of cour...

Re: All French Job ads
Do you also get ticked off by all those english only ads? Lol well seeing as how aviation is ruled by the English language no it doesn’t bother me to see the English only ads...Maybe if I was looking on a French website for a job in France I would expect it, but we are still in Canada and no reason...

All French Job ads

Re: RAIC application refusal
Hey This issue is a very tough one for me. I have some serious criminal charges in my passed for which I have done time for and not been granted a pardon. I am now at the point in my career where I would like to leave the bush and start flying down south somewhere but I know getting a RAIC pass with...
