Re: On-Demand Video Interview Thoughts

It's now been over 5 weeks since I submitted my interview and still no response. I got an email from the Modern Hire platform about how their servers were offline then back online again (?). Wondering how long it's taken other people?

Re: On-Demand Video Interview Thoughts

Oh wow the interview step isn't a live Zoom video with a panel such as an HR rep, current controller, etc?? I thought this is how it was and thought I read about virtual but live interviews occurring recently so this must be new... I've also done interviews answering video prompts elsewhere and the...

Re: On-Demand Video Interview Thoughts

It felt totally bizarre, sitting in a room talking to my computer. During in-person interviews I build momentum as I talk to the interviewer. I become more expressive and have a better energy. During the video interview I felt the opposite happen. I'm sure I did worse than I would have an in-person...

Re: Workday Status Change

Did they email you the interview invitation right after the email that you passed FEAST? I'm not at YWG but as far as I can tell my region hasn't sent out any interviews since passing the most recent FEAST tests at a similar time to yours. I got my email saying I'd passed the FSS portion on April 2...

On-Demand Video Interview Thoughts

I'm just curious what the general thoughts are on the on-demand video interview since I haven't seen any mention of it to date (tried the search function). On the selection process on NavCan's website, the next step after the "In-person test" (which I presume is the FEAST) is a language test for the...

Re: Post FEAST interview email - question.

Congrats! And I was also under the same impression. This is the email I got today: "After review of testing results, your score fell below our minimum pass mark for ATC and you have not been selected to proceed in this stream. However, you met the minimum pass mark for FSS and may be invited for addi...

Workday Status Change

Hey folks, I just did my FEAST test in YWG about 15 days ago. The test administrator had mentioned that due to the high volume of tests being done at once throughout the regions, we could expect the results in 2-4 weeks (I guess normally it would be within 2 weeks). At the time I didn't think to ask...

Thanks tower controller and Ryan92! I understand it's a bit of a process, but the wait is painful!

2018 Application Inquiries

Hi! So I completed my online test back on March 2nd, 2018 and I'm applying from Ottawa. While applying, I saw that there were two assessment dates already posted for (I think) Edmonton and somewhere else? But I was already too late. I haven't seen any other dates posted since then. Now I know that j...
