Great livery. Wouldn’t change a thing.

Re: New Hire Sims?

Exaggerations like this don't help your case though. It's bad, but it's not poverty. Sorry?? Where do you live that 58k/yr isn't poverty? Especially with a mortgage, or a car payment, or kids, or rent even? The only ones on this salary not living in poverty are still shacked up with mommy and daddy...

Re: Why everyone runs to AC?

AC is definitely the long game play. For every reason. That isn’t attractive to many. Understandable.

Can’t wrap your head around why that would be attractive to many? Not understandable.

Re: Best aircraft for 1 day pairings?

New hires are frozen on type for I believe it's 2 or 4 years. That being said, there are still a lot of positions needing to be filled and the crew requirements seem to change each bid (keep in mind it is a 1 year outlook). There's an equipment bid every 2 months and they usually reduce the new hir...

Re: Best aircraft for 1 day pairings?

1) Yes, get a list of available positions/bases. Draw seniority, pick aircraft in order of preference, await results on the last day of PIT 2) Whatever the positions are available for the class is what will be assigned. 737 rated pilots will be given preference for 737 positions outside of seniorit...

Re: The end of Flair?

This antagonism towards Flair is totally misplaced. All they're is doing wrong is possibly failing against a government who've created a hostile aviation environment that is 7 times more expensive to operate in than our neighbours, and the most expensive operating structure in the entire G20. Maybe...

We're doing something right here folks, bringing affordable air travel to Canadians.
Your doing everything wrong - and the fact you can't see that is almost comical.
It’s not funny at all. It’s sad.

Re: WestJet VS CargoJet

While being Captain isn’t everything that has to factor into the equation. How long to a left seat for those hired today? 15 years?

That right seat is going to feel uncomfortable after a decade.

The Porter cult is truly interesting. Much like the WJ cult of yore. Up to and including defending being groomers.

Never ever understood simping for a company. Is it a Canadian thing? Honestly wouldn’t know but very strange.

Re: Pilot Employment Beyond Age 65

Why the hell would anyone want to work past 65?? A) Made poor choices in women and now flat piss broke due to alimony payments. B) Has no life outside flying/unhappy home life. Wears pilot uniform to stores after work. Absolutely. So sad and pathetic. They can feel at home with the AR losers at WJ.

Simping for the company is a bad look. Simping for ALPA is equally bad.

Summer growth sked assured. Chess for company. Checkers for pilots.

Vidkun Quisling should be forgiven cause he admitted what he was right? I mean. He told us!

Obviously not the same but I hope you get the point. I hope.

Sounds like another boomer beholden to an outdated ideology as most boomers are.

They can’t help themselves. It’s who they are. Leave them behind. Don’t even bother.

Soldier ahead. Wear your lanyard. Get on board.

Re: Reserve out of base

Nice edit co-jo. Did Canada’s head SCAB email you?

If anyone was wondering he said crews were on reserve the whole time they were on layover. Specifically Cancun.

God you’re such a shill.

Go Flair!

Merry Christmas

I really hope for your crews the duty time associated with that pathetic nonsense is being tracked and accounted for.

God help your crews if something happens and it’s not.

Probably price. Doubt it all you want but it’s the reality. 6th freedom traffic is huge and the massive part of AC’s strategy.

With the information available today and the reality of what Jazz is turning into it would blow my mind if someone chose Jazz over almost any other airline.

The writing is on the wall. #sad
