Re: YEG Applications process

...quoted text... It's interesting how we did the assessment around the same time but your interview was finished and complete before I was even invited. Here's mine: FIR : YEG Preference order: IFR, VFR, FSS Online Application Date: April 30, 2018 Online application results: April 30, 2018 (Green ...

Re: YEG Applications process

Nothing on my end yet. I'm guessing that if I didn't receive an offer yesterday it means I've probably missed the cutoff for the upcoming session.

If that's the case it's ok, I'm in the pool until May next year so there's always a chance.

Re: YVR In-person Assessment (Jan 2019)

But if it's just a pass/fail grade for each section, how do they decide who to invite for an interview? And which candidates score higher and are high up on the list of potential training invitation? When I did the assessment in YEG last year they said everyone who passed the assessment (which mean...

Re: YEG Applications process

Yeah nothing on my end. I'm not anticipating anything until February or March based on what Fawkes posted. I'm waiting patiently but I still end up checking this forum once a day.

Re: YEG Applications process

Thanks for the info Fawkes, too bad we won't know where we streamed. Did they give any indication to when we would find out that info?

Congrats to everyone who made it through, hopefully we'll see each other on course.

Re: YEG Applications process

You know I feel the same way about my interview. Everyone always talked about the three interviewer panel in a conference room, but instead I ended up sitting at a small table with just two people in the training manager's office. Way more intimate than I had anticipated.

Good luck to you as well!

Re: YEG Applications process

Ya this new website is quite bleak. I keep almost clicking the "withdraw application" since its the only thing you can really click haha. Status is just listed as "Interview". This waiting sucks :( My page looks the same as yours, status is interview with no pending tasks. From what I saw in a diff...

Re: YEG Applications process

Hey guys For those of you going to in-person interviews now, is there going to be a next stage should you be successful? I just received an email a couple of days ago from NAV inviting me to book a date for their FEAST testing. Anyone else? The next step for the people who are successful after the ...

Re: YEG Applications process

Hey Yeg28, Congrats on getting the green light. I did the in person interview yesterday and it was pretty much how you described, more intense because your watching them take notes as you speak. I didn't get to tour the centre but that was ok as I already had a chance to sit down with an IFR control...

Re: YEG Applications process

Hey B.Yeg28, looks like we were in the same assessment. I'm not sure about flyboy987, but for my original interview offer I was given a choice of Nov 2nd or 3rd in Calgary, I then recieved a call a few days later and they changed the location to YEG but with the same dates for the interview. My gues...

Re: YEG Applications process

Well good luck with the interview! Do you know anyone else who made it through to this point?

When I was first got the call for the interview they organised to do it in Calgary (which would have been great for me) but I guess things changed and they moved back to Edmonton.

Re: YEG Applications process

Anybody from the July 10/11 assessment want to say how their assessment went? I thought it was pretty simple besides the audio portion and got the green light on Monday. I was in the July 10th assessment. I don't know about simple, for me it was a mix. Some of the parts I finished with minutes to s...
