Re: Cargojet or Flair?
I second this of Cargojet, not much flying but the experience you get is great. Lots of flying out of MIA into Central and South America, its not just typical ILS to ILS at a Canadian airport. I feel like cargo gets a bad name for "back side of the clock" yet every time I'd be flying at night you'd ...

Re: Realistic requirements?
What is the flight time I should be aiming for before applying for AC? Currently I stand at 2000hrs with ATPL. I’d say apply and see what happens. Depending on what your experience is in that 2000 hours will determine how quickly you get called. 2000 hours, ATPL with jet time would get a call prett...

2500 hours, ATPL, 1500 turbine, but no multi, really.
I’ve never had an answer from an email…. Can anyone shed some light?

Re: Cargojet vs Sunwing
Lots of YOW/YUL CJT guys commute including myself. We have jumpseats with AC as well as you can commute on company aircraft only stipulation is you must be in YHM 12 hours prior to report for "rest" if you want to commute on company equipment. You can easily bid your schedule for longer pairings and...

Does anyone know if you can still use the “trusted travellers” line just with a yellow pass whether for deadheading or personal use?

Could be Detour Mine. Heard awhile back they were putting the strip back in and that Wasaya was likely getting the contract, maybe it changed.

Re: King Air SIC time
As far as I’m aware, as long as it states in the AOC that the aircraft is required to be 2 crew even if it is a single pilot AC then you can log it as SIC. I flew a king air for a 703 (not sure of things are different in 604) and was SIC, I just got a letter from the ops manager stating that the air...

Re: Application Timeline and Ground School
I interviewed mid February and they told me they are hiring for the YYC base. Two GS per month from March to April. Week after the interview they called me with an offer and said if I wanted to I could start in March.

Re: Entire application process timeline?
I applied last week to Jazz and got a call this week inviting me for an online Interview. What exactly is the process? I see they mentioned if successful I would then do a sim eval, from there is there an In person interview after?

Re: Air Sprint Questions
Hi Guys,
I noticed that the requirements for an FO are pretty high, does anyone know if Air Sprint has been hiring below their minimums posted? The company sounds very transparent with a decent work life balance, it's definitely spiked my interest in applying.
Thanks
