What is wrong with the weather in Ontario
As the question goes: What is wrong with this BS Summer....yet again but worse this time in Ontario than 2008? It's so depressing. To come off of two brutal winters in a row, with no Summer to speak of. I'm sure the Winter of 09 won't dissapoint.

Yet these passengers have no problem paying $40.00 some odd dollars to take a sh!tty $6000.00 cab from Pearson to Downtown Toronto all 20 Km's of it, yet squak at the thought of paying $800.00 to take a $50,000,000 airplane 3000 miles away at a ridiculous speed separated from instant death by pop ca...

This was posted on Yahoo news. I found it interesting given what happened to the A-300 American lost over Queens in 2001.

Re: Air France 447 Reported Missing
While I'm not a pilot, I do have an understanding of whats going on up front, generally speaking of course. I'm not familiar with the inner workings of the Airbus, but even if there was a speed issue, would there not be plenty of time to react? It's not as if the 330 was bucking along 150 feet above...

"Air France suffered from the Concorde disaster in 2000 and has since had a number of accidents and scares. On July 25, 2000, all 109 passengers and crew and four people on the ground were killed when an Air France Concorde crashed near Charles de Gaulle airport. All Concordes were eventually taken ...

I don't know what your all complaining about. It's not like you have any responsibility. I mean I can see you getting a decent wage if you were snapping on hub caps at a factory or something....but to fly an airplane? and not see where your going half the time? Or to maybe have to repair one in a sn...

Here they go again...the Media that is. Have any of the "EXPERTS" chimed in yet? You know the ones who build model airplanes and spit when they talk, and this of course makes them all Pilots and Engineers. The Dash 8 is going to get a bad wrap. Bombardier was supposed to be sued over the Buffalo cra...

That 737-800 is not that much smaller than a 757. If anything it just sits lower to the ground. Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not a Driver, but in order for wake turbulence to come into effect, would the 737's approach not have to be lower than the 757's, and would he not have to touch down on the ru...

A short poem written for all who chose the aviation business! Last night while I lay sleeping, I died or so it seems. Then I went to heaven, but it was only in my dreams. But it seems St. Peter met me, there at the pearly gate. He said, " I must check your record, so stand right here and wait." "I s...

Dear media Shut the hell up already about how there's no end in sight to the worst economic calamity of our lifetime. Maybe then our confidence might stand a tiny chance of improving and things will start recovering. Jeez!! And that Sir, is the only reason we are in a recession in the first place!

No one has said to shut down society until we fix this number one problem. They are saying we need to fix it, it will be fixed, and the sooner we start the better (and cheaper) it will be for everybody. This is the problem, the mindless bantering of our Governments and idiots like Dion will cause a...

Perhaps a good place to look at some of this is here: http://community.channel4.com/groupee/forums/a/frm/f/9250037634 Climate change is real. It happens all the time. our economy has largely been based on things which directly contribute to global warming. and if we make a switch in our lifestyles it isn't as if everyone will lose their jobs. somebody has to design solar panels and wind turbines. then someone else has to dig the hole to put them in and someone e...

As for the MD-80 I don't know for sure, but on Boeings, such as a 727, the flight crew in addition to there regular after start check list, also do a check of the takeoff warning horn circuit on the taxi out. A few times there have been return to gate's for this very horn failing to sound. Sometimes...

Stay away from Buzz Hargrove and the CAW, they only care about their own bottom line and nothing about the well being of the people they are supposed to represent. Not all unions are evil but CAW definitely is. +1 on that point. I've seen there crap first hand. They are trully useless and amount to...

Having worked under the CAW before, I can say that they are the most useless group to have in your corner. Don’t think for even a second there would be any representation from them. They are there for your money and nothing more. I’m not disputing what your saying about your friends. There are other...
