I think until a TA is written up there’s no point getting riled up over this. It’s an executive summary not the final language going into the contract. To clear this up once and for all. From the latest published pilot lists, the date of hire to get off reserve as an FO are as follows: YYZ: Mar 2020 YVR: Mar 2017 YYC: Aug 2017 Source: May 2023 position assignment list published by ALPA. Now none of us know whether this will speed up in the future....

Most junior reserve eligible FO in YYZ is March 2020 (hardly counts, it skips to straight to July 2022 after that thanks to covid) so I wouldn't call it "years"
