Re: Frustrating - Tires again...

I agree with Hedley. We changed countless tires on taxi ways and runways recently. Tires usually look okay but the tube will have a hole in it.

Looking for a room in London

Hello all,

Anyone out there seeking a roomate or know of someone who is? I'm looking for something in London relatively close to the airport. This will only be temporary, 2 months or so. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: is any one looking for an AME apprentice

I'm leaning more towards turbo props. Floats would be interesting! I'm really considering getting out of the city as well. So in short not sure of a specific type of aircraft but i'm pretty open minded right now. The applying while in school thing is tricky. you have to be working for this program t...

Re: is any one looking for an AME apprentice

No, I'm definately willing to relocate. Last year at this time I wasn't. If the work isn't around home then there is not too much that can be done about that. I'm willing to go north!

Re: is any one looking for an AME apprentice

I am in the same boat as yourself. I've put out some resumes all across the country. The way it looks in this industry is that you should be willing to relocate. I'm doing the Stevenson program and no one is biting yet. Do most operators prefer you to be done school? I know there is oppourtunity I m...

Re: Peninsulair locked out at CYHM by Tradeport!

They have been talking about expanding the main terminal for a long time. Correct me if i'm wrong but the main terminal is going to be expanded from the snow plow hangar through/past shell and cargojet and past peninsulair? That would be a really big terminal. What a bunch of dicks, oh well i guess ...

Re: Peninsulair locked out at CYHM by Tradeport!

I have my PTR at the school. All my private training was in that PTR. Do I still need that PTR if I wish to continute with any sort of training? I'm not in the province right now either.

Re: Apprenticeship Wages

I am in the same position. I did the job that doesn't pay to get a little bit of experience but now i'm ready to move on. I'm not a greedy person, I am only asking to make enough to live. If someones paying a high wage there is a reason for it like theres 3000 people in the town or a bag of milk cos...

I didn't know Stevenson had a 2 year program. I can't imagine being stuck here for that long in one time.

they're all so concerned for their safety but they have no problems standing a c*nt hair away from the road with cars going by at 200 miles per hour. Wheres the logic in that? cops can do whatever they want. The guy made an abrupt movement (probally for his insurance) and the cop tazzered his ass. I...

The guy i'm thinking of rides a folding bike. Pretty gay in my opinion. I gaze in amazement everytime his inflated head fits through the door on the cirrus.

It seems i've come into some money

Some waki Iraqi oil tycoon died in a bombing and apparently me and mike leechin(SPELLING) are halfing the money. I should try to push for more because he has enough money. He wanted particulars but, i figure i could stop by that fancy new hangar of his in Hamilton first thing monday morning. I reall...

aviation as a second career

I realize that it is tough to get a start in aviation as a pilot. I've chosen a new career. I'm not sure if i'll save as much money as possible to pursue a commercial or lose sight of my dream to fly. Just wondering if any up and coming pilots feel discouraged or intimidated by the cost. Is there pi...
