Re: Year 1 take home pay YUL

Around $3300 + perdiems. Perdiems between 0-$1300ish. $800-$1000 as a RP. If you're on the NB you'll get a bit more. If you're on reserve and don't fly, $0 obviously. That's bare bones. You said no OT, but a bit of block growth, one or two days on reserve into G days (which you get back and are pai...

Pre-employment medical

After my initial medical, Dr followed up and requested me to consult a cardiologist for a stress test and 24 hours pressure monitoring.

Anybody else had to do that?

What was the outcome?

Any tips/info/past experiences welcomed.

CRM CRM CRM. Two-crew environment. BRIEF BREIF BREIF. Make sure both of you are on the SAME MENTAL MODEL the entire ride. Don't do any cowboy stuff. If it doesn't work GO AROUND. Be polite, give a vigorous handshake, dress well and be humble. If you don't know, ASK; ATC, dispatch, your co-pilot.... ...

Re: AC-JAZZ ALPA merger?

Jazz guys being called up to AC these days. The open time is going bananas with all the block being dropped in open time. The status quo can't last for that much longer. Planes will be parked and flights cancelled. Every base has almost 10-15 lines of CA open time flying....

Re: ALPA Petition

Dash Trash… Thank you for your informative reply- most helpful. The potentially divisive issue that I am contemplating, that was an issue with CALPA in 1994, was a merger policy. Sportingrifle If the concern is in regards to a possible re-integration of the Express fleet, just re-read “career expec...

Re: ACPA LOA?

Thinking airplanes only need pilots to move is the foolish type of ideology most of us have. Unfortunately, getting an airplane airborne takes a plethora of processes and human capital to execute their tasks for it to happen.
