Re: Air Canada: Be afraid of the cash crunch

IMO, if virus contained in 18 months, we will see slow recovery in fall 2022 to early 2023

Re: Corona Virus

I’m sure this was just a trial virus for the Chinese bio weapons lab. They will likely come out with something worse in the fall. I don’t really buy the eating bats or the other armadillo like creature theory. They’ve probably been eating that disgusting shit for thousands of years. Did get the pro...

Re: Companies Laying off.

I wouldn't worry about companies laying off. This virus will pretty much be the end of aviation as we know it. This virus is expanding exponentially and will kill off any remaining airlines. It's just a matter of time. Anyone who thinks this matter will go away in three to four months is out of touc...

CATSA nonsense

Who do I write to complain about treatment of aircrew, (specifically flight crew), who are operating and in possession of a security pass. I have noticed in particular- smaller airports, are extremely thorough in their processing of passengers and crew members. It looks absolutely ridiculous seeing ...

That is wishful thinking. Those seats will be filled, one way or another.

Re: Air Canada "haute cuisine" and incidence of Crew diarrhea?

Message for the OP. Maybe you should do some test for food intolerances. I discovered few years ago that I was or became intolerant to lactose. Those crew meal providers have very high standards and it is doubtful that you are getting food poisoning. You are not lactose intolerant. You're just not ...

Re: When do you think the 737 MAX will return to operation at Air Canada?

It takes decades to gain trust, seconds to lose it -and years to regain it. Boeing and FAA execs should be held criminally responsible with manslaughter. The 737 will never be (re) certified in its current state. Even if it does, passengers will avoid it like the plague- leading to its eventual fail...

Re: Career First Officer at AC by design?

Not to mention a Southwest newhire makes more than a 5 year pilot at AC and works fewer hours. Pathetic. As is that pay stub above. An American 787 FO makes 350.000 US ~(464.000CAD) and has more time off and better working condiotions.
