Re: TA

https://www.cbc.ca/player/play/video/9.6508538 As far as CBC trash goes, this one isn't too bad. But it does show just how much the union failed the new pilots especially. The fact that he says new pilots only make 75k shows that the union has done a piss poor job of getting the sad truth out to th...

Re: It is imminent.......be ready.

The competition has attempted to pay more and staff up prior to this, thinking we would cause an earthquake when the contract came out. Now they wont have to care anymore because AC didn't raise the bar. No improvements across the industry for anyone else since AC set the gold standard. There will b...

What is going on? The government is bending over backwards to help corporations screw Canadian workers.

Re: Is it that bad at AC for pilots? I mean food stamp bad!

Everyone who took flat pay knew what they were getting into. They signed up for terrible pay by choice. Doesn't this tell management everything they need to know about the Canadian pilot supply? There are better paying options yet people still line up, ready for abuse. What a sad state Canada is I d...

Re: This can't be good for the industry...

This will barely make any changes to pilot supply in the industry. Skilled workers and, in particular, Flight Instructors, already have a specific path to Permanent Residency in Canada. That has been the case well before this current "shortage". All this seems to do is perhaps speed up the process ...

The fact the union agreed in principle to this is crazy. You hit the nail on the head. The entire industry thought this was going to be the big money moment in Canadian aviation. Sadly, this shows extreme weakness and it will be hard to carry momentum now. Even with a no vote, everything looks like ...

Hey everyone,

What are you using for a Canada-USA cell phone plan? I'm sure many of you have discounted plans or company phones through your employer, but does anyone else have good intel on a plan/provider?

Also, you can find direct contact details to folks at TC here by following the menus and selection the region. Dont use the generic numbers, go direct to the folks desks.
