I have a beef with TC! Not a huge one but one which should have been addressed long ago as this is the reason we have TC1

Our FLIGHT DUTY LIMITATIONS are the joke of the aviation world.

Transport Canada is not in control. Well that’s not true, they are controlled by the operators.

I heard a rumor Flair does duty different.

Kelowna Flightcraft, I mean Flair (Because Flair is not a part of Kelowna Flightcraft) asked their pilots to block out after finishing deicing. It seems they were running into duty time issues so they want the pilots to start their duty day after deicing is finished.

Well get this, Flair is owned and operated by Kelowna Flightcraft as an alter ego airline. I don’t know what they pay but I know the Flair pilots were offered a base in the Dominican republic at a 3 star resort and they would be paid 40$ a day per diem. Very sad in my opinion. They should Unionize!

And being in management of a public company, we are constrained in what we say by the rules of the Exchange. We are also responsible to the Minister of Tr...

But, probably all just a rumor someone started just to see how far it will go.
