What about the Benjamin’s?
Does this mean they are paid in US Dollars? 30% increase would be nice.

So if the checklist does not say to stay under redline, then that is not something you need to do?

Re: Handling of power on take off and landing.

I am one hand in throttle, one on column person. Why...that is what I was taught. I do see advantages to it as your hand is one throttle if you need it. Seldom do you need 2 hands for control a Cessna 172/182 Our local instructor teaches 2 hands on column on short final. I do aircraft check outs for...

Re: Experiment & Questions

Pressure altitude is the altimeter set for standard pressure of 29.92, not your actual altitude. Looking the altitude from the earths frame of reference it will be a straight line for a constant rate climb. Looking at it from space it will be curved, matching the curvature the earth. However, if don...

]Going to look back at those NTSB flight data animations. I'm pretty sure those climb outs had a straight line to cruise alt Frame of reference. Straight line to our frame of reference which is sea level and gravity. Looking from out side the frame of reference, it would be curved, inside it is str...

Doesn't this whole thing depend or your frame of reference? Everything you say about a gyro is correct, however the artificial horizon corrects the gyro for our local frame of reference and keeps it corrected to our local "down"

Re: Failure to complete 2 yr currency

Oh..I agree about the rules for cadets being tight, but these pilots told me they do not need any currency proof at all. Had not been with an instructor for years and did not know about the Flight Crew Recency Requirements Self-Paced Study Program. My comment was more to ... i have many private frie...

Re: Failure to complete 2 yr currency

I have had pilots wanting to volunteer to fly cadets, but would not/could not prove currency and were upset that we expected them to do a yearly instructor ride. So, we did not use them.

Re: WestJet introduces WestJet Link

Talking as a customer in a small market (Kootenays) there is excitement about this. We now should be able to book on PASCO and hook directly to the Westjet network. Currently if you fly PASCO you are on your own for your connections if your flight get cancelled (40%) of the time in winter. This fact...
