Re: Air Cadets Training contract

The gliding program for the cadet program does not need pilots. It need adults who are willing to be adult leaders, supervisors and instructors, who can also fly. The requirements for training in the aircraft is not that much when it comes to actual flying hours, but you will be expected to be more ...

Re: YCG

I would love to see more flights into YYC/YZZ. The winter months suck for weather in the valley however. In the winter it is better to drive you Kelowna or Cranbrook if you want to get out/in. PASCO usually has reasonable fares from YZZ to YVR, but the Jazz flights out of YCG are usually pricey, so ...

Isn't Elon making electric self driving semi trucks. The more the truckers keep this up the more the demand for Elon's semis will increase, which helps him.

Just be honest with them...maybe they will up the offer. Not aviation, but IT. Was offered a full time position at a place were I was temp. It was 2008 during that downturn. They made me an offer, at the same time I was offered another contracting job. The full time place upped the offer but was sti...

Re: AZ vaccine suspended (again) May 11 2021

We are horrible at risk estimation. If AZ has a 1 in 60,000 chance of side effects and every Canadian received it, then 660 Canadians will have a side effect. 25,000 Canadians have died of covid, so we have a 1 in 1600 chance of death from covid if you did nothing. https://coronavirus.jhu.edu/map.ht...
