I wonder if a class action would get the desired attention to the issue.
I was told the delay for response right now is 6 months, and in my case it was almost exactly that until I got a letter (requiring another exam of course). So you are likely another few weeks away from your next communication.

Re: Is the ACPA Motto: "We will get'em next time" gone?
[We could have 3 months of "meaningful bargaining" under the watch of a mediator, then pull the 90-day strike trigger on May 1st for a summer strike if we don't have an agreement by then. Should we tell him Maybe he means summer 2025. That is my new target for a strike now. Though I'm sure the comp...

I applied to Jazz in the late 00's as a 704 multi-turbine Capt with 5000 hours. There was no response.

Yes, because standing in solidarity with your colleagues for a better contract is in the same category as showing your support for HAMAS, an internationally recognized terror group who is responsible for countless atrocities, the most recent being this past weekend? Asking for a good CA and advocat...

It's a myth that a probationary period is for anything other than avoiding severance pay if terminated. And if social media posts making the company look bad was considered a valid fireable offense half of the company's pilots would have been fired after the ALPA social media protest last month.

Re: AC pilot slips through the vetting process
What do you mean slip through? A significant number of new hires are of Arab descent. Arabs are one of the largest non-European ethnic groups in Canada. There are hiring policies in place to ensure they are statistically represented. You think this isn't how many Arab people feel about the Israeli oc...

$391k CAD for a 767 FO. That's not accounting for the higher cost of living here either.

Re: Conair Career...it's a good time to get on.
Really!? Isn’t this the exact strategy flight schools and airlines use? Why you still have people scrambling to make $30k a year regional or $50k a year mainline in hopes that either attrition or expansion will eventually get them to the golden carrot on top? Seniority is EVERYTHING!! Get there fir...

Everybody is talking about engine data so I imagine it was that. Perhaps a oil injection system like a snowmobile could aid with running on Jet A reliably.

I feel like the union needs to slap him across the face with U.S level increases on all lifestyle and income for flight crew - and not yield until he retracts his impression of what pilots needs to be effective and happy in their career. He is fortunate Air Canada has tall barriers protecting it fr...

Airlines are seniority based so the sooner you apply the better. A 5 minute search will show you the 737 operators. What a weird thread.

Yes, thanks to satellites among other technologies we don't lose search aircraft as much as we used to while looking for other missing aircraft.
