Re: Air Canada and Transat announce Increased Purchase Price to $18 per Share

Good day to all, I have been reading this thread with mixed emotions. I have been at AC for 4.5 years and was at Jazz for almost 9. In all, it took me 15 years to make it at a Mainline operation + engineering degree. Liked Jazz ... and really like my current job. I work with fantastic people. They a...

And what line number do they apply to in the QB province?

These things are hard to figure out

Ok, but as seen on Pilot central, FOs get 80k worth of shares and capt get 110k every year. Now if you add salary and expense accounts....

Just saying this is a lot

Plan B might as well become plan A

Way better than I thought

I just saw the pay figures on Pilot central and with the stock, gives better than anything in Canada. Correct me if I am wrong. -Can the employees sell any stock acquired with pay along the years -Do they get it gradually along with salary or is it bulk once a year. -If they exercise the 20% option ...

As I see it, there are weights categories for wake turbulence thence H, M and L. As C-HRIS mentionned, if I can read well, the transport weight categories are a differet scale and applies as before. So flying a J31 or B350 or anything heavier than 12500 counts as Medium time. Just asking because it ...

Is 12500 still going to be limit for light and medium

Somebody told me yesterday the B350 and J31 would no longer be medium weight aircraft as the limit would be pushed beyond 15400. Could this be true.

Thanks for the quality replies. I think most of the individuals hired that came from King-Airs had very good references or could be exceptions. Humbly speaking, I believe most looked at for interviews had either heavy jet experience from cargo, executive jet, or regional B1900 time. All being pretty...

Climbing the ladder

For what it's worth, like most i'm trying to get the experience it takes to get a chance at mainline. Almost 2800 hours with 2000 multi pic but just signing in for capt on a 200 with a contract. There are good oportunuties of getting right seats in mediums like 1900s or J31s out there with the pain ...
