This is a prime example of why the the world can’t agree on Covid. People with very little understanding or non at all, develop opinions based on assumptions then post those opinions as facts.

What kind of plans are being implemented now that we are approaching borders reopening.

What deals are the airlines AC, WestJet, Transat, Sunwing, porter etc making with employees to aid the restarts.

I love the shortsightedness of going to a bank comment. Revenues are close to zero no bank would lend in this instance. Letting airlines die would in fact work as the foreign carriers would just pick up the pieces. The problem of course is the significant loss of tax revenue both from the corporatio...

Terrible news. Time for the government to step up and acknowledge the direct relationship between the struggling airline industry and current government imposed travel restrictions. Time for financial assistance.
