Wage raises and signing bonuses?
Did I just read that Air Canada and Westjet have both raised their starting wages AND AC has a 10 grand signing bonus? Did I dream that or is this really happening?……and why aren't all the pilots that are usually flaming away rejoicing? If it's true, doesn't this means great things for most of us wo...

I was gonna say that J5! Awesome word! I just pictured the military in a higher regard then blasting others as they roll in and out of airports. I almost did the leg work of trying to find out who it was.......but then I remembered that one day, when mother America comes to annex us, these guys will...

Last summer, I got showered with rocks/sand and such from a crew that happened to be flying a military helicopter in cyld. I even took a video the second time they did it.... They were maybe 20 feet above and 40 feet beside the king air as they went by. There were no other obstacles for them to go a...

Re: This IS An AVIATION Web Site
Can't you just go to the avcanada home page to avoid all the misc./humour messages? The original host created that forum many years ago to deal with non aviation discussions. Getting rid of it seems a bit silly and heavy handed. Like has been said many times before, if you don't like the topic, don'...

I didn't remember what was classed as an incident during the interview, so I told them any instances when I had to speak with TC regarding flight training and/or CAR misunderstandings.

If your interview is with the company you were just asking about(hicks), I told them about any and all incidents or enforcement actions against me.
I still got hired.
Good luck

Re: Hicks & Lawrence
The accomidations are good, but dependent on how clean and respectful your fellow pilots are. Hours will range from 150hrs in a bad season to 450 in a great season. I don't remember the pay(i BD). They had bonus' last year. As detection you get the minimum 3 days off in 30 and 13 in 90. In bad weath...

Your picks sound great Doc. T.O. is injured, so you can say good bye to the cow pokes. Romo looks like he needs t o to make him look good. New england, Indianapolis, NY Giants, Green Bay With M Harrison coming back Indianapolis could stop New England(If Philly can almost do it with their back up qb,...
