Re: Adding a Type Rating from a foreign Licence to a TC ATPL
Whatever you do avoid Dorval office. Had a pretty bad experience lately getting my ATPL signed off (just because the licensing officer had a different interpretation of XC times) with almost 2000 all international multi times. Oh as well they wanted to see my 2020 medical which was sent back in Jun...

Re: Adding a Type Rating from a foreign Licence to a TC ATPL
I've added foreign non-FAA type ratings to my TC license. But I was actively flying at the time. Presented foreign license with said type rating, record of latest check (what they call PPC in Canada but not anywhere else) and logbook evidence of time on type. $30 later and the rating was on my Cana...

Adding a Type Rating from a foreign Licence to a TC ATPL
Hello All,
I was wondering if someone has any experience adding their foreign type ratings on a Canadian TC ATPL. What’s the process? What if you haven’t flown on type for more than 12 months? Etc
Thanks

Could be both, but a valid question none the less.imjustlurking wrote: ↑Tue Oct 05, 2021 10:39 amBecause they don't keep up to date with the industry news or they're that desperate?

Anyone know if CJ is still hiring?
Anyone have an Idea on the number of pilots CJ needs? If they are even hiring.

Re: Flair Hiring B737 FO's
Realistically, what are the chances of a 703 Captain with an ATPL, 2600h, close to 1,000h multi-turbine PIC in different types but 0 jet time to get a call? Are they finally going to start looking at people who didn't fly for Emirates/Etihad and don't have 7,000h PIC on a 777/A380? :?: I'm genuinel...

Re: Sky Service Business Aviation
SSBA is a great place to work. Ive done two tours of duty there over the years and they have always been great. Organized and crews are very well supported from senior management to flight ops. The interview with the current CP (Mark) who is a great guy and certainly a "pilots chief pilot" is HR ba...

Re: Sky Service Business Aviation
I interviewed a few years back for a FO position when I was at a regional in YYZ. Overall it was a negative experience and I wasn't selected for the position (not that I would have taken it anyway). They seemed to question my intentions and put me down in the interview which wasn't cool. Thats craz...

Re: Callback Timeline
Hey all, Does anyone know if CJ will continue hiring? I Have just north of 2200 TT mostly jet/ multi crew turboprop and an ATPL, although not much in comparison with the current industry standard, but I’m hopeful lol. I applied early January with no call back. Has anyone else with similar credential...

Re: Jazz Pilot Pool
I’m not in the know, just you wouldn’t be the first to arrive after building hours abroad. Whether a stamp is good enough, I honestly cannot say but unless there is a reason you don’t want them to contact a previous employer, all they would verify is if you worked for them as a pilot for the amount...

Re: Jazz Pilot Pool
More info required, Canadian or right to live and work in Canada? Can your time be verified? Yes to both of those I would say yes, absolutely they would but you could make more money elsewhere. [/quote] Yes I am Canadian and have the right to live and work. I did my flight training in the states and...

Re: Jazz Pilot Pool
Does anyone know of the current situation with hiring at Jazz or any regional? I’m a TC CPL ME/IR + IATRA holder with NO flying experience in Canada and about 1700 hrs TT, 1000 ATR turboprop + 500 on the E190. Any chance any regional would consider me? Any help pointing me in the right direction wil...
