Visit to Firebomber boneyard: Greybull,WY

Hello, finished my webreport on a visit 21Oct2014. Loads of pics and I think I got most hulks identified. There were a few unmarked ones, fairly recent arrivals. Some remain a mystery, but some of those unmarked ones found in 1994 have now gone. The mystery quite academic now. ex/ RCAF C-119s. Was s...

Re: Status C-GEAJ crashed Antarctica jan.2009?

Indeed well done by the Kenn Borek people: home in time for Christmas!
Now where will ownership of C-GEAJ en up with, wouldn't be surprised if Enterprise AL had it written off and Ken Borek
bought it from the insurance company...

Status C-GEAJ crashed Antarctica jan.2009?

Basler BT-67 C-GEAJ(26120) crashed in Antarctica on 5th January 2009. Since then there has been little or no information as regards its current disposition.
Was it damaged beyond repair, stripped for spares, or simply abandoned and are there any photographs of the crash site?

Re: Wardair...

It just so happens I started reading it a few days ago.. Sofar excellent reading, yes indeed. I make the occasional airliner photo and so, when an airline goes belly up or vanish in a merger / takeover, I add that airline in my gallery Airlines Remembered. Wardair is remembered too: http://www.ruudl...

Re: Good places to plane spot at YYC?

Can recommend a visit to the air museum
Getting there, from the terminal, you''ll pass an area which has a selection of stored airliners (e.g. Air Literal) and CL66B N4AX.
Enjoy!

Someone wrote me in May 2008: "Any idea what this crash is? This is alongside the abandoned rail line between Sioux Lookout, Ontario and Upsala... Looks like it may have been pulled out of the lake?"
