Re: Atlantic Charters
Anyone have any updates on Atlantic Charters? That TSB report was a concerning read, but this was almost 10 years ago and I’d hope it wouldn’t reflect the current operation. Feel free to PM me instead if you’d wish.

Does anyone have any info on this? Couldn't find any info on Cameron Air's pay or working conditions using the search function. Feel free to PM me instead if you'd prefer.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Re: Survey Pilot/Camera Operator in jobs Forum
How does a "newly minted" pilot get a job with a company asking for a minimum of 500 hours? Sure does look like a good opportunity though. I definitely enjoyed my short stint on the 206 and would have applied if I had the time they're looking for. Well when I was hired there they were asking for 15...

Re: Early Connection Program
I know it may be a bit pre-mature given that Porter hasn't even restarted yet and not all pilots have been recalled, however, does anyone know if destination: porter and/or the early connections program is returning once Porter is back in a growth position?

Re: How bad is commuting
I know lots of guys who do YOW to YUL but they drive. What is the reserve call out time for the airline(s) you speak of? I thought it was 90 minutes and it’s about a 2 hour drive to YUL from YOW. Do they all still have a crash pad in YUL or have enough seniority to hold a line? At Jazz it's a 2 hou...

Has anyone commuted to YYZ or YUL from YOW? Curious what others’ experiences were like. I could see myself living here long term. I know lots of guys who do YOW to YUL but they drive. Re: Class 4 instructor pay?
I'm curious.. Would a flight school ever agree to pay for a flight instructor rating if you agreed to stay for an agreed upon length of time - like a bond? I would really love to teach others to fly. It's something that I am passionate about and I would love to go that route, but it would take me ye...

Saw in a recent email that we're getting a third -700. Are these for expansion or are they one to one replacements of our 300's?

Re: Getting that first flight instructor job - advise request
One can’t overestimate the importance of doing your instructor rating with the school you’re trying to be hired at. This was true before the pandemic, and it’s even more true now. The school I’m affiliated with has a large pool of home-grown candidates, and I see little reason for us to look outsid...

Re: What should entry level pilots do?
Rent a plane once in a while, and have little adventures to keep current. I know it costs money, but this won't be the end of spending money on airplanes unfortunately. This is what I’m doing while trying to pay down debts and build up savings. There’s nothing you can really do right now with the s...

Re: Anybody Joining/Rejoining the Airforce?
For anybody considering joining, I was told by a recruiter that the seneca program has been suspended. So the only options left are DEO (if you have a degree) or RMC (aka 4 years of doing a degree followed by a couple more years of training).

Re: Non Aviation Employers Don't Respect Pilot Experience
I just got a job washing dishes at a hospital and it pays $26 an hour (extra $1.20 for night shift). Might be an option if you can afford the hit to the ego. What province are you in? So far I’ve dug holes for $20/hr and drove a van for $17. Washing dishes for $26/hr doesn’t sound too bad! ...
