Re: Kirby Lake Crash Oct 25th

I live in Lethbridge so if anyone dosen't mind, I would like to have an arrangement sent on behalf of AvCanada. You can pm me a message that I will print and attach to the card. I think it's soo important that family realizes why he did what he did, how much he enjoyed it, and how many friends he ma...

Re: 'selective minority' best watch their six

Fine, lets see what happes. Azure, I'm about 90% positive Durf's comments had nothing to do with the no votes. I am also 90% sure that there was a majority of no votes, which leaves the real minority... the few bitching we need a union or something like that. At least I hope that's what he meant, be...

Re: 'selective minority' best watch their six

Thanks Complex and Tony for the backup. At first I wasn't really bothered by his statement, but then this evening I felt something akin to what Widow may have felt over the last few years. What? Your a pilot's wife? You know nothing!

She sure proved that's wrong.

Re: 'selective minority' best watch their six

Azure , why the need to speak for your husband? Did he lose a set on the way to the keyboard? I mean, does the agreement have to be acceptable to him, or to you? Have you ever worked at an airline? Just curious. Just curious what you think are acceptable pilot employment terms. Go on. Enlighten us....

Re: 'selective minority' best watch their six

Well, speaking for my husband who hadn't even voted, on the vote that was cancelled, Durf has no idea how many pilots would have said 'NO'. I don't think it was a select few. That's ok now, the team is back and focused on the new contract, I have faith that they will come up with something acceptable.

Re: Petition for Family Access to the Flight Deck

Several years before 911, my daughter chose to go with dad rather than me on one of those "Take your child to work" days at school. Thanks to AirBC she had a wonderful experience! With a proper pre-flight briefing she knew to hold her questions until after takeoff/landings, and when she grew bored w...

Decion needed to be made

Hi, my husband decided he'd like to donate his flight credit to someone who really deserves it, who worked their a$$ off this Christmas. ie: CSA's, TAC and Crew Sched. First off, there are soo many to decide from, but I'm leaning toward the guys/gals at Swissport in YVR. Would this be possible? He f...

Didn't see this one: Men are like .... tile floors .... if you lay them once right, you can walk all over them forever. A feminist told me that one  Only a feminist would think that way, once you lay them right and don't satisfy forever....you get scraped up and replaced by hardwood.

Each day you waste thinking about it, add another 10 numbers to the list. If your not ready to go today you'll probably end up in the area of 1000? That may mean a long upgrade.

After 2009 you might see a spike in retirements.
