I think that you are right in that pilots SHOULD be high time guys. The real problem as I see it is that I would increase the cost of flight training dramatically. Aviation is under Federal jurisdiction therefore we do not fall under provincial labour laws.

I spent two seasons on the dock with Stanton Air in Orillia while at College. It didn't lead to a job flying but I sure learnt a lot and met a bunch of really great people. What college are you at now?

I did mine from Peterborough to Quebec City with a stop in Ottawa there and Montreal on the way back. You don't get navigation much easier than that!
