Re: Air Canada Interview Prep

What people have said about me is true. I do have an Youtube channel where I embarrass myself and I do charge for my career and resume services. In fact, I will add one more: I even have a long nose and a bit of a ‘dad bod’. BUT, my intention to help new pilots is pure. I don’t do it for free becaus...

Re: Avada Kadabra

Keith, you start your post off with "What is embarrassing..." What is embarrassing Mr. Keith D'Mello is your website advertising $75.00 to offer "guidance" to aspiring pilots. All the advice and help given to me in my career was done for free and I have paid it forward to people that I know. I did ...

Re: Avada Kadabra

I find the best way to change my life is to change myself for the better first. There was a time I was so upset at the government, employers, and other people but, none of that helped me. It wasn't until I cut out all that complaining did my life start to sky rocket, from being a depressed immigrant...

It's embarrassing that this and similar posts exist (union and company bashing). If you're having union issues it won't get fixed venting on a public forum. All it does is make the pilot group look like cry baby victims. Real change comes from taking action by volunteering for leadership, or voting ...

Re: No pilot recalls until Spring 2023???

All pilots should be back between as early as June and as late as Sep 2022.

All the best!

Re: Flight Instructor Rating Costs, Pros and Cons

Actually, I have to clarify that being a Flight Instructor was one of the most rewarding aspects of my career. I've personally sent dozens of students solo. And sent many more for a successful flight test. Unfortunately I couldn't afford to be one for very long and left as a class 2. Captain Kirk [Y...

Re: Flight Instructor Rating Costs, Pros and Cons

Flight instructing in Cessna is an entry level job unless you own the flight school. Most people in any industry don’t stay in an entry position. They naturally want better opportunities. And no there is nothing decent about making 30k-40k/year.

Flight Instructor Rating Costs, Pros and Cons

Hi friends, in this video I talk about the Cost to get your Class 4 flight instructor rating in Canada. This rating is labelled different in to USA where they call the rating a CFI (flight instructor) and CFII (flight instructor instrument). In Canada, the rating in order is a Class 4 (entry level),...

Re: Cost for Private Pilots Licence in Canada for International Students

Having a PPL/CPL/ATPL and competency is not the same thing. I'd rather have a pilot fly me with a PPL that flies 3x a week than a CPL who only flies 1x/month.

How to EASILY talk with ATC

Hi friends, When first starting out as a pilot, it can feel like a lot of pressure to talk with ATC. You don’t know what to say. You feel like you will sound stupid. Or you’re afraid ATC will get upset at you for having to repeat themselves. Well in this short clip it discusses 4 questions to keep i...

Maybe you're not familiar with the internet :D . Everything is available if you look hard enough. Ordering from TC is very much a last resort. They charge way too much.
Good for you.

Commercial Pilot Training Costs in Canada

Hi future pilots, Do you want to know how much your flight training will cost you? Here I have researched all the numbers for you. So, you can compare them to the quotes given by your own flight school. As an international student the costs for a CPL is different from a local Canadian resident. In f...
