Re: Night Rating - You Should Think About It!
Not being able to fly at night as a licensed pilot is just crazy to me, it would be nice if one of these days they just combined the night and VFR ontop into the basic PPL.

Re: I need some serious help!
No worries, happy to help All I can say is I dropped out of highschool to start college early, when you have a degree no one really cares about your highschool. Lol, actually no one really cares about my degree ether, date wise my degree should raise red flags since I was only 18 when I got it, yet ...

Re: I need some serious help!
Just tossing this out there, but if you can get a visa to train in the US it will widen your degree options and speed up the whole process due to the different culture when it comes to "education" You won't need to take some silly highschool class online, just take a GED test over a afternoon, than ...

Re: Some U.S. regional airlines are now sponsoring Canadians for the H1B Vis
Lol, how silly, this is like all those experts and polls who said Hillary basically already won the election and trump had no chance. I really don't care about the PHD and his word processor or how many pages he can pump out. As someone who's boots on the ground and in the industry (not the militar...

Lol well who knows better the PHD or people in the industry
Got a few PHD friends, also with near zero aviation experience, maybe I'll have one of them churn out a 151 page pdf blaming it on Martians, would you believe that?

SuperchargedRS, Your assumption that the increased pilot salaries seen in the U.S. regional sector is entirely a function of them 'growing some balls,' couldn't be farther from the truth. This study does a great job of outlining the key factors of the pilot shortage: https://www.rand.org/content/da...

Re: Some U.S. regional airlines are now sponsoring Canadians for the H1B Vis
May I ask if you’re living the ‘good life’ in the states, why you still peruse the Canadian aviation forums? Is it just to spout your bs and stroke your ego? Or is it something more than that? I rarely post on these forums, but I find your demeanour very irritating. I’m sure the fo’s (captains) tha...

Re: Some U.S. regional airlines are now sponsoring Canadians for the H1B Vis
I asked the question before to no avail, how does one drop out of high school then go on to get a degree or two by age 18? What school accepts high school drops outs that are not “mature students” and gives out degrees(pl.). I must not have seen it, I got no issue answering the question, US schools...

Re: Some U.S. regional airlines are now sponsoring Canadians for the H1B Vis
To disparage others and their choices because you think you're entitled to the ''truth'' about what everybody should be doing to make this a better industry shows a lack of adherence to moral and ethical principles = lack of integrity. And as long as the level of disrespect to fellow pilots remains...

SuperchargedRS, millennial or not you're for sure one entitled specimen. Making history by shaking the rules of the neoliberal capitalist system from your little pilot base in Canada. Wow! Re: Some U.S. regional airlines are now sponsoring Canadians for the H1B Vis
How quickly these threads change direction. As previously mentioned if it happens it a good thing. How is it a good thing that Canadians let their aviation system get soooo screwed up that they have to scurry across the boarder to eat the scraps that American pilots don't want. It's like one bum te...

Because they are are worthless by definition, they have no self worth or self respect. When given a chance to make a positive change in your industry with little risk or without losing much money, as they aren't even paid enough that a weeks pay is worth mention, that you're too weak or the tenacit...

Re: Some U.S. regional airlines are now sponsoring Canadians for the H1B Vis
Not sure if you're a pilot, but you can't hire a guy and have him flying the same day. Shutting down a regional for a week will make a HUGE impact and the media will be all over it, you will have a place at the table and the ear of the people in short order. Not sure if you've ever worked for a reg...

Annoying is all Canadians do, and even then they don't even really do that, I'm talking about make their voice felt, shut it the f' down, that will give you a place at the table. It seems we are speaking a different language, just curious if you're a socialist or commie, or maybe just dramatic, but...

Re: Some U.S. regional airlines are now sponsoring Canadians for the H1B Vis
If Canadians cared about their own country, they would un-tuck their manhood and take a stand, speak loud and be proud of their profession, walk the F' out for a few days, then go to the media and explain the conditions and pay, somehow I think the masses would be a little disturbed to know how lit...

Oh you poor little baby, dude man up and take charge of your own life and quit being a friggin doormat, this is how the Canadian aviation industry got so screwed up. I mean between this line of thinking, to all the people on this AVIATION forum who go out of their way to argue that pilots aren't ev...
