How's the staffing situation there? Short staffed?

Nav told me they were hiring only for Montreal (which I assume has a smaller pool cause French). Each region is handling differently and they weren't looking to hire for another area right now.

Got an offer for Montreal ACC, but had to turn it down because mon francais n'est pas fort lol
For reference, I took the FEAST around fall 2019. They told me my application has been extended to be valid until next summer.

I don't know if these are worth mentioning but to add... Each FIR has 2-3 rounds per year. A round is basically the whole process starting from the FEAST up to the course start. So if you just missed the deadline for, let's say... the Spring round in Toronto, then you have to wait until the next rou...

I remember back during my FEAST session, Nav mentioned that they are revamping the FSS application process. They said they're looking into having a separate testing etc for FSS instead of having them done together with ATC.
